A VEHICLE collision between a Honda 4 door sedan and a Dodge Ram 1500 V-8 pick-up occured on Coloma Road at approximately 3:00 p.m. The female teenage driver of the Honda was transported by ambulance to the Placerville airport for a helicopter life flight. A SUSPECTED burglar is taken into custody by Placerville police and other officers following a foot pursuit and tracking by a California Highway Patrol helicopter team early Thursday afternoon in Placerville, near the Waffle Shop on Broadway. The unidentified suspect was pursued on Carson Road near Schnell School Road, with officers deployed at one point to Mosquito Road before the eventual arrest on Broadway.
