Lyon names Colgan sales manager

Kurt Colgan of Folsom has been named sales manager at Lyon Real Estate’s Roseville office. Lyon Real Estate is the No. 1 brokerage in annual home sales in the greater Sacramento region.

Colgan has 25 years of real estate experience, including more than 1,500 closed escrows. In addition to his highly productive sales career, he is well versed in lead generation, presentations, negotiations and contracts. He became a qualified broker in 2000.

In his new position, Colgan will assist the Roseville office manager in growing market share in the Roseville geographic area, as well as recruiting, training and mentoring sales associates.

“We are pleased to name Kurt as the new sales manager of the Roseville office,” said President and Chief Operating Officer Pat Shea. “Kurt has many years of experience with Lyon Real Estate and was also the operator of his own real estate company.”

Colgan joined Lyon Real Estate in 1989 after receiving his California real estate license in 1988. In 2003, he opened his own company. Colgan is a master graduate of Rapport Leadership International, which offers leadership training courses, such as strategic planning and goal setting, executive coaching, as well as performance management. He is also a certified mentor for Peak Producers with Buffini & Company, the largest real estate coaching and training company in North America.

Colgan is a member of the Placer County Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
