SACRAMENTO — Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, the largest residential real estate brokerage in the Sacramento and Lake Tahoe region, recently announced the kickoff of its annual Operation: One Warm Coat collection.
The public is encouraged to donate new and gently used winter items for the homeless and needy in their local communities. The collection drive is running until Dec. 16.
Thirty-nine Northern California Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage offices, from Lake Tahoe to San Jose, will act as donation collection centers. They will accept coats, sweaters, jackets, sweatshirts, hats, mittens, towels and blankets. Donations will be sent to local organizations benefiting those in need.
Individuals interested in donating warm clothing and items to Operation: One Warm Coat may do so at the local Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage offices:

Operation: One Warm Coat was established in 1992 by a San Francisco resident who wished to donate her coat and have it provided for free to those in need. The non-profit organization’s mission is “to ensure that anyone who needs a coat has one,” believing that “providing this simple, yet vital, service helps people live productive lives year round.” Since its small beginnings, the organization has expanded its reach across the country, helping individuals, groups, companies and organizations collect coats and deliver them to local agencies that distribute them for free to people in need.
