RE/MAX Gold agent Rachel Gray suffered major burns after an accident on the Rubicon Trail during the Jeepers Jamboree on July 28.
Following the fiery wreck in which Gray’s vehicle rolled multiple times, ejecting Gray and a passenger, the 21-year-old woman from El Dorado Hills was flown to UC Davis Medical Center. She has since been moved to the Shriners Hospital burn unit in San Francisco.
Gray, who works at the Fair Oak RE./MAX office and specializes in relocation, investments and in REOs, was last known to be in critical but stable condition, according to Georgetown Gazette editor Rebecca Murphy. Murphy said Gray suffered burns on 70 to 90 percent of her body.
An account has been set up to accept donations for Gray at El Dorado Savings Bank under the name of Rachel Anne Gray. The account number is 263017782.
“She is fighting hard and has lots of love and support, but this will be very long recovery,” wrote Lori Wilson in a Facebook posting shared with the Mountain Democrat. “The recovery process will be long and extensive but she will get through this thanks to the love and support of everyone.”
