Century 21 Select

El Dorado County Association of Realtors  named Linda Riley Realtor/Citizen of the Year for 2013. At its annual awards luncheon, EDCAR recognized Linda for her accomplishments in business and service to the community. Linda is never too busy to share her time and give her support to make her community better and help those in need.

Linda served on the board of Family Connections, chaired the Can Tree Event, supports CASA, Toys for Tots, Easter Seals and Animal Rescue. Linda has raised money to fill trucks with food for animals displaced in floods and worked for several years with the community services district to improve Rasmussen Park in Cameron Park.

In 2011, Linda served as President of EDCAR, in 2012 she was president of EDCAR Top Achievers Club. She was a state director for the California Association of Realtors for 5 years. She has been honored by Real Trends Magazine as one of the best Realtors, not only in El Dorado County, but the surrounding Tri County areas. Linda was recently honored at Century 21 Select Group Company retreat in Reno, as the Top Agent for Century 21 Offices on the Highway 50 corridor and in the Top 1 percent for the entire Select Group Company.

“Linda’s talents and skills in Real Estate go well beyond the awards and recognition that she has received from her peers, our company and those clients she has served these past 34-plus years,” said Mike Southwick, Linda’s managing broker. “She is a very thoughtful, kind and giving person who is willing to pitch in and help with small or big projects. She is a very capable leader when called upon to do so. Linda has also been a mentor to scores of other Realtors whose careers are better because she took the time to help, guide and train those that sought her advice. In addition to the number of awards that Linda has earned over her career, she recently earned the Century 21 Centurion Award for 2013. This is the highest award given for individual agent production within the Century 21 system. We are all proud of Linda for earning the Realtor of the Year award and I am personally blessed to be a part of her life.”

Linda started her career in 1980 in El Dorado County selling mostly land, becoming familiar with all the rural areas of the county and specialized in equestrian properties and homes on acreage. As the county developed residentially, Linda began to represent developers of lots and land subdivisions and has had the privilege of representing some of the premier builders in the county marketing new construction.

Linda recently launched The Riley Team to provide a wider range of services to her clients. Team members Kent Sutton and Tara Gilmore bring years of knowledge and experience in all areas of Real Estate including Short Sale negotiation and Commercial Real Estate. Linda’s team also includes a full-time assistant, transaction coordinator and a marketing consultant.

Linda is looking forward to another banner year in 2014 and is striving to live up to the Realtor of the Year status. She expresses thanks and gratitude to her colleagues, the community and her beloved clients for their continued support through the years.

“Life is good, El Dorado County is a great place to live and Century 21 Select is the best place to work, the people and support are unsurpassed,” Linda said.
