Moon and Mercury Square

The moon and Mercury will square off, reminding us that words can be escape artists. Also, once they leave our lips (or fly from our fingers in the form of digital media), they can be impossible to retrieve. Don’t let emotions get the better of your self-control. Think first; talk second.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). This is no time to show your work to negative people. Seek the response of encouraging people only. Less than helpful feedback will make you want to splurge on something that will make you feel better.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Even though you were born under the stars of material wealth, you make your life about people and relationships, not things. At least you try to do this. Today you may have to try harder than you do on other days.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Someone depends on the kindness of strangers, and the go-to stranger today will be you. You will be kind, indeed; just be sure to be smart, as well. Don’t let your guard down.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). Beauty is about romance, romance is about mystery, and mystery is about ignorance. The less you tell someone about yourself the more beautiful you may be to that person now.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). You’ve been known to balance your efforts to entertain others with stretches of time spent hiding out. It’s an excellent idea, as you are sure to feel recharged at the end. But do consider what you’re really hiding from.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). You desperately need a practical soul on your side. The people you’ll be among do not represent the majority, though they may speak as though they alone have the key to knowledge.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). People want your focused attention. People want anybody’s focused attention. It’s such a rare commodity these days, but you give focus and feedback in an especially heartening manner.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). You don’t expect your loved ones to want what you want. You don’t see things in the same way or have the same needs, so why would you? No wonder they feel free around you.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Strength untapped is passive and neglectful. Uncontrolled strength is violent. The events of the day are designed to help you be your best by finding your strength, tapping it and controlling it.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Fellowship and community fulfill a human need. That’s why solitary confinement is considered punishment. However, lately you may feel like you’re getting a little too much of a good thing.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). It will be hard to separate what is said from the person who says it, but you should. Extremely credible advice will come from an unlikely and unpopular source.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Appearances will be more important than usual. You’ll dress to show your respect to the people around you, and they will appreciate the way you class up the environment.

TODAY’S BIRTHDAY (Feb. 21). You are wiser than ever this year and will seek an empowering viewpoint in all things. Money you’ve waited for will finally arrive in March. April has you processing surprising feelings. You’ll love the professional development that happens in May. June brings fast action, money and change. Sagittarius and Aries people adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 9, 2, 21, 40 and 16.

WEEKEND LOVE FORECAST: ARIES: If a relationship gets too serene, you have to wonder whether it’s really true love. TAURUS: As for a loved one’s jest: If you laughed, it was funny. If you didn’t laugh, it wasn’t. GEMINI: Since you can really only trust the opinion of those who have nothing to gain or lose by answering truthfully, it’s better not to ask your loved ones personal questions. CANCER: You look and act your best when you embrace the age you are. LEO: You gravitate toward sweet people because it’s more fun to go through life without all of the bad faces. VIRGO: The stories you tell will make someone fall in love with you. LIBRA: Someone has to be the pursuer, and someone has to be pursued. They are equal roles, so just choose one and play it well. SCORPIO: Your attraction secret is that you over-deliver in all things. SAGITTARIUS: A new activity with someone you know well will be more fun than an old activity with a new person. CAPRICORN: Dig deeper and find more in common with the person you like. AQUARIUS: A loved one is more likely to go for your idea if you address possible objections up front. PISCES: A loved one doesn’t live for you, though it sure will appear that way.

COUPLE OF THE WEEKEND: Pisces and Sagittarius have a deep appreciation for each other as the Pisces sun reflects light off of the Sagittarius moon. Pisces is a willing adventurer as long as Sagittarius promises not to bring Pisces to the party and then abandon ship. As long as Sagittarius proves loyal and trustworthy, Pisces will be the perfect companion, providing support and entertainment throughout the journey.
