Mercury and Mars Bring on the Breezy
Relationships get a cosmic touch of grace as Mercury, the minister of communication, forms a harmonious angle to Mars in Libra. This points to a day filled with flirty banter, breezy business transactions and a smooth simpatico between people who have known and loved each other for a long period of time.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). You want to add to your assets, but at what cost? You are wise to consider the downside of an arrangement, even if you’ve already made up your mind to go forward with it.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Temptations abound, and you’ll have trouble keeping your hands out of the cookie jar, especially if said jar is brightly colored and fully stocked. New mantra: Out of sight, out of mind.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). From your schedule to your hair, it all seems to be falling into place today. At around noon, you’ll feel generous and will benefit from acting on those impulses in a big way.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). Many prefer to live in a predictable world, even if it’s a predictably uncomfortable one. You’ll be driven to break out of the realm of known cause and effect and experience the unfamiliar.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). If your ideas are met with a flat response, don’t be too quick to interpret this as a rejection. Maybe they just don’t understand. Maybe this isn’t your ideal audience. Anyway, it’s safe to assume that it’s them, not you.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). You’ve met amazing demands lately. To keep from wearing out, seek serenity. What’s good for your mental health will be good for your physical health. Avoid chaos in all forms, including media. Especially media.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). There are many reasons to take on a project, so don’t let the financial aspect of it overshadow the rest. While deciding what to do, try factoring in the financial piece last instead of first.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). An alluring someone wants you to let your guard down so he or she can get emotionally (and perhaps physically) closer to you. Stay on guard, watch your words, and reveal as little as possible.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Work has had you speeding along, and you’ll enjoy the chance to amble this afternoon. You’ll enjoy the freedom to use those uncanny instincts and follow your interests and curiosities.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Take care of loved ones first. There will be a challenge having to do with commerce or work, but you’ll handle it well as long as you haven’t used up your problem-solving energy on a conflict within your inner circle.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Brief commitments are favored. A short-term cooperative arrangement will be enjoyable; whereas, a long-term tie will soon seem cumbersome, laborious and joyless.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Make your sensitivity work for you. By staying cued in to the subtle changes in demeanor of a customer, colleague or loved one, you will avoid an unpleasant situation in the future.
TODAY’S BIRTHDAY (March 14). You’re a visionary, working to realize the potential you see in the world. You’ll be a student and a collaborator during the first half of this solar cycle, soaking up all the knowledge and experience you can. In August, you’ll break out solo, applying what you’ve learned and adding a twist. Love is best in April, June and October. Gemini and Scorpio people adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 29, 2, 14, 32 and 10.
WEEKEND LOVE FORECAST: ARIES: You’ll get practice accepting compliments with grace. TAURUS: Even though self-deprecating humor can be disarming, avoid putting yourself down, as it will only make people uncomfortable. GEMINI: Surround yourself with happy people, and it will be easy to stay upbeat. CANCER: The best people won’t be afraid to do what it takes to earn your trust. LEO: You’ll enjoy the swanky party if you know that there are people there who can further your interests. VIRGO: You have fewer vices than your friends, and the vices you do have, you’ll compensate well for. LIBRA: There are things you want to keep private, and you’re even more attractive when you don’t give the mystery away. SCORPIO: You have a few surprises up your sleeve, and that’s what will keep a loved one coming back. SAGITTARIUS: Your instinct will be to keep family out of your private life, and it will serve you well. CAPRICORN: You may look socially adventurous to the untrained eye, but you are actually expertly calculating the risks and relying on your skills. AQUARIUS: You can wake up the one who doesn’t appreciate you by flirting with someone who does. PISCES: You are cool and confident on the outside, but dates still scare you. You’re not alone!
COUPLE OF THE WEEKEND: As Sunday’s full moon in Virgo reflects the soulful energy of the Pisces sun, these signs will be inexplicably attracted to each other. Magic moments will have an otherworldly quality. Later they’ll look back on this time and wonder whether it was a dream. If they pursue a relationship, they’ll help each other in many ways. Pisces will give Virgo new hope. Virgo will offer a practical way to make Pisces’ dreams come true.
