Mars Equalizes Giving and Getting

Next week, Mars and Uranus align to throw a few wildcards into the mix. But right now, things are marching along in a more or less expected way. The need for dependable companionship is highlighted tonight. Share loyal and supportive words wherever you can. We all have a need for community, inclusion and acceptance.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). With Mars invigorating you with his journey through your part of the sky, it’s easy to be too forward. A moment of quiet reflection on how you would like to relate to others will shield you from the mistakes of haste.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). It’s a natural response to defend what’s yours or stand up for those you love. Even though this may be your first impulse when someone seems to infringe on your territory, there will be a wiser second impulse that follows.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Something has changed in your awareness since yesterday. You’ll notice what people are doing that you don’t like, and you’ll also notice what they are doing to enrich your world.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). A sense of belonging is a powerful, primal need, a need that you fill for others with your simple acknowledgements and gestures of openness — for instance, your smile.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). You’ll witness odd behavior and will be asked to interact outside of your comfort zone. Luckily, since all human beings have the same basic needs, it shouldn’t be too difficult to figure this one out.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). You are interested in getting other people’s needs met. It will feel good to help. You are even able to ignore your own needs temporarily in order to do this. But you won’t be able to serve anyone if you go overboard with the selflessness.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). You’ll appreciate the mellow qualities of the day and will be soothed by stretches of silence and the peace of uneventful hours. You probably won’t even mind how the tranquil parts are punctuated with drama.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Excellent conversation, television and other entrancements will seem like a necessity — and they very well may be. To avoid getting burned out or overly tense, you really do need the release that entertainment provides.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Free time seems in short supply now, but since no one can tell you how to think, your mind will create mini-vacations while you physically attend to the demands of the day.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Sometimes when you’ve been in a relationship for a long time, common courtesies like eye contact and being in the same room as the person you’re talking to go out the window. For a thriving relationship, bring them back.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Being overly generous is your norm these days. You’re in the mood to go over the top to show your love, interest, support, enthusiasm and whatever else you may be feeling.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Just because the other person’s mouth is shut doesn’t mean he or she is listening. Minds do have a way of drifting. You may have to do more to get and keep people’s attention now.

TODAY’S BIRTHDAY (March 15). You’ll involve yourself where you are needed and wanted and will make a huge difference there. You’ll rid yourself of extra baggage in the next 10 weeks. April closes a deal. May brings a happy meshing of hearts and lifestyles. Following a new interest this summer will bring about a change in the way you make money. Capricorn and Taurus people adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 4, 14, 3, 20 and 38.

WEEKEND LOVE FORECAST: ARIES: Is it possible for you to get away for a day trip? TAURUS: You are so emotionally full now that you can afford to be unfailingly supportive of another person. GEMINI: Connection doesn’t always come naturally between you and the one you love. Sometimes you have to make it happen instead of waiting for it to happen. CANCER: It will feel mighty fine to finally gain the cooperation of one who has challenged you in the past. LEO: You’ll be inspired by someone you didn’t know could make you feel that way. VIRGO: Love is like a process of hypnosis now, but you can unhypnotize yourself whenever you want. LIBRA: There’s a saying that if you’re lost in a forest, let your horse find the way. Stop consciously trying to direct your love, and let natural instinct take over. SCORPIO: You may be feeling shy, but engaging people will bring you out of yourself. SAGITTARIUS: Warning: Perfectly lovely experiences can be ruined by over-analysis. CAPRICORN: You have a strong need for honesty from everyone around you. AQUARIUS: Your warmth and humor attract the same. PISCES: All the traits you want in a partner may not be available in one person. Friends help fill the gaps.

COUPLE OF THE WEEKEND: The waxing moon in Taurus will reflect more of the Pisces sunlight as the weekend progresses, and couples of these signs can expect an attraction that increases in kind. Taurus is ruled by Venus, and Pisces is ruled by Neptune, sometimes called the higher octave of Venus. These two have a similar way of expressing love and can naturally sync to each other’s rhythms.
