Picky, Picky Libra Moon

The waxing moon in the sign of partnerships brings to light our preferences in relationship matters. What one person considers affectionate another might find annoying. The same gesture could be considered both comforting and stifling. It’s just a matter of opinion. The Libra moon challenges us to give what will be most appreciated.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). You’re attracted to the interesting choices of others. Those who make ordinary, expected choices will lose you unless they adapt quickly to the strong need for novelty you feel now.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Doing well is a matter of putting in the time. Your enjoyment of a process is a plus that makes work a pleasure, but it’s not necessary for the win. Victory depends on focused efforts over time.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). What you accomplish isn’t nearly as important as how you go about it. To say that you are centered now would be an understatement. You are also calm, clear and sourced by a power from within.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). The problem with doing your research now is that the advice and data you gather will likely be contradictory, making the decision-making process even more confusing than it seemed when you knew nothing.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Your social graces are in top form. You’re inviting, and you make it easy for people to get to know who you are, what you’re about and how to be a part of that. This helps in business, too.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). You’re a leader who likes to follow; it’s how you learned effective leadership in the first place. Knowing what others need and how to direct them requires that you see the scene from many perspectives.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). There are those who just can’t shake the notion that talking about things makes them better. That’s not always true. In fact, talking about things is likely to make them worse. Know the power of silence.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). There’s something about your work that you enjoy immensely, and the most productive part of your day occurs because you dwell a while in that feeling, ignoring all else.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). People will praise you, but beware: Pride goeth before the fall. Indeed, a puffed-up high-and-mighty feeling lends just the altitude necessary for a dramatic drop. Humility is the way today.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). It is generally agreed that too many cooks in the kitchen, chiefs in the tribe or multitudes of any other kind of ruler will not bring good results. Let there be one king now, and let that king be you.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Remind yourself of your deeper purpose, even if you think you know it intrinsically. This is how you prevent the distractions of the day from sending you on a quest for short-term gains.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). This is a busy time for you. If you try to cram too much in, you’ll waste time and mobility feeling overwhelmed. To empower yourself instead, narrow your list and take things one item at a time.

TODAY’S BIRTHDAY (April 23). Your spiritual development helps to elevate your experience of life. It won’t matter whether your pleasures are many or few; your enjoyment of them will be intense. An authority will note your wise handling of a knotty problem, and you’ll be promoted. Increased funding and responsibilities improve other areas of your life. Capricorn and Leo people adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 6, 25, 33, 15 and 39.

LIBRA MOON BEAUTY TIPS: Though best known as the moon of partnership, the Libra moon is also highly artistic, with the developed visual sense of an A-list celebrity stylist. Here are some Libra moon-inspired beauty tips by sign: ARIES: Always bring mints. Kissing opportunities abound now for the passionate ram. Beautiful breath enhances the experience. TAURUS: Invest in quality, not quantity. One expensive pair of jeans is worth five cheap imitations. GEMINI: One trendy item per outfit keeps you fresh. More than that gives you diminishing returns. CANCER: Beauty starts at home with uncluttered closets and a well-organized vanity station. LEO: If you haven’t found the optimal hair products, keep searching. It will be worth the cost. VIRGO: A magnification mirror is the kind of must-have that appeals to your detail orientation. LIBRA: Invest in your smile. It’s your best asset. SCORPIO: The importance of undergarments can’t be overstated. SAGITTARIUS: Manicures build confidence, as many will touch your hands. CAPRICORN: Salt is a basic element from the Earth with many beauty applications. Look into it. AQUARIUS: Science is on your side. Try the latest beauty advancements. PISCES: A long, hot bath restores your looks and your spirit at the same time.

CELEBRITY PROFILES: He is the second most quoted writer in the English language, the first being the various writers of the Bible, and is widely regarded as having influenced the English language more than any other single person in history. William Shakespeare was a tenacious Taurus born when Jupiter, his planet of luck, was in Leo, the sign of drama. “The play’s the thing!” — William Shakespeare
