A Dec. 14 story about El Dorado Irrigation District Director Alan Day’s first board meeting incorrectly summarized his statement in part by saying he thought former Director Harry Norris had done a good job. Day wrote us to say, “The essence of what I did say was that I felt the election was less about me or Mr. Norris, and much more to do with the fact that our EID rates and bills are significantly impacting and hurting people and that I hoped my fellow EID Directors would understand that very important message from the voters in El Dorado Hills.”
