Crime log — Aug. 2-3

Aug. 2

12:01 a.m. Suspects attempted to force entry into an apartment on Valley View Parkway in El Dorado Hills.

2:25 a.m. A rock was thrown through a window at a closed commercial business on Francisco Drive in El Dorado Hills. The rear door was also damaged.

7:03 a.m. A female juvenile suspect, 17, was allegedly in possession of heroin paraphernalia on Jacarillo Trail in Mont Meadows. Her probation officer in Carson City, Nev. wrote an arrest warrant which deputies served.

9:45 a.m. A 58-year-old male subject reported a cabin had been burglarized on Bucks Bar Road in Somerset.

1:00 p.m. 
The reporting party reported that he located a fraudulent $20 bill while counting the till from the county jail in Placerville.

1:15 p.m. A subject was served a restraining order which included a move-out order on Fairplay Road in Somerset. The subject made a statement about returning to the residence and shooting it out.

5:29 p.m. A 47-year-old male subject reported his motorcycle had been vandalized on Pleasant Valley Road in Pleasant Valley. The subject suspected his girlfriend’s daughter. Phone reception was lost before the investigation could be completed. The subject is supposed to re-contact the deputy to complete the report.

8:18 p.m. 
A bike was found on La Crescenta Road in Cameron Park and booked into found property.

8:41 p.m. Alleged verbal dispute between a male, 48, and female, 47, resulted in the arrest of the female for suspicion of felony domestic violence and assault with a deadly weapon on Highway 49 in El Dorado.

Aug. 3

2:50 a.m. Gary Ward, 41, was arrested on suspicion of robbery on Town Center Boulevard in El Dorado Hills.

11:15 a.m. A victim reported that and unknown subject stole a check from a checkbook without their knowledge from Sierrama Drive in Shingle Springs. The victim learned that the check was forged and cashed.

12:27 p.m. A report was made of a domestic violence incident involving a cohabitating couple. Chad Bell, 38, was determined to be the dominant aggressor, and was subsequently arrested on suspicion of domestic battery and transported to the county jail without incident.

8:42 p.m. A suspect allegedly violated a court order on Farish Road in El Dorado. The suspect, Jason Beckett, 33, was arrested and transported to jail.
