7:25 a.m. A 57-year-old male victim reported vandalism to a vehicle by unknown suspect(s) on Appian Way in El Dorado Hills.
7:40 a.m. A 34-year-old male victim reported an attempted petty theft from a vehicle by unknown suspect(s) on Garlenda Drive in El Dorado Hills.
7:46 a.m. Unknown suspect(s) vandalized the victim’s vehicle by shattering a window on Tea Rose Drive in El Dorado Hills. The case is now inactive due to lack of investigative leads.
9:35 a.m. Vandalism to a vehicle was reporting on Panorama Road in El Dorado.
9:53 a.m. A glass smoking pipe was located on the grounds of a middle school on Green Valley Road in Rescue. The pipe was collected and booked into the Sheriff’s Office for destruction.
2:30 p.m. A vehicle was stolen from a U.S. Forest Service yard on Carson Road in Camino. The suspect(s) then used the stolen vehicle to ram two locked gates on the property in order to exit.
5:29 p.m. Unknown suspect(s) were outside victim’s bedroom window at night on Blueberry Hill Drive in Shingle Springs. The victim was too afraid to call Sheriff’s Department until the next day.
6:30 p.m. A male juvenile, 16, was allegedly caught on a school campus on Koki Lane in El Dorado in possession of alcohol.
7:40 p.m. Three juvenile subjects, ages 14, 15 and 16, allegedly arrived at a school function on Koki Lane in El Dorado under the influence of alcohol. Two of the juveniles were cited and released to their parents for alleged public intoxication. The third juvenile was found to be on probation and although he had allegedly been drinking he was not heavily intoxicated. A report was submitted to his probation officer for review.
9:00 p.m. Laura Matthews, 48, was arrested for alleged public intoxication on Town Center Boulevard in El Dorado Hills.
9:04 p.m. A 17-year-old female juvenile was reported as a runaway from Pony Express Trail in Pollock Pines. She was entered into the missing persons system.
9:40 p.m. A female subject, 22, was allegedly observed operating a vehicle under the influence on North Shingle Road in Shingle Springs and was subsequently arrested by CHP on suspicion of DUI.
Aug. 25
12:11 a.m. An adult female, 51, was arrested for suspicion of driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs or alcohol on Highway 50 in Camino.
1:03 a.m. A male adult was given a misdemeanor citation for alleged violation of the county noise ordinance after Sheriff’s deputies responded twice to a vacation rental on Seneca Drive in Tahoe Paradise.
8:30 a.m. Unknown suspect(s) smashed 10 windows and forced entry into the victim’s building on Camp Nauvoo Road in Oak Hill. Once inside the building, the suspect(s) stole a case of soda. The victim sustained a financial loss of approximately $2000.00.
11:40 a.m. The suspect was found to allegedly be driving while his license status was suspended on Highway 193 in Georgetown. The suspect, Keith Martin, 45, was cited and released, and his car was towed.
1:48 p.m. Three armed subjects advised a camper he needed to leave the area of Cosumnes Mine Road in Grizzly Flat.
2:16 p.m. A group of subjects was contacted on Town Center Boulevard in El Dorado Hills. The driver was seen driving the vehicle and later admitted to not having a valid license, which was confirmed through a records check. The subject, Nathanial Chestang, 21, allegedly could not produce a valid identification and was subsequently arrested.
10:28 p.m. An allegedly intoxicated male and female that were in a dating relationship had a verbal argument on Bass Lake Road in El Dorado Hills. The female was arrested by the CHP for allegedly driving under the influence and a deputy took the male home.
11:20 p.m. Deputies responded to a bar on Pony Express Trail in Cedar Grove after customers complained of a drunken male challenging patrons to a fight. Upon arrival deputies contacted a male who was allegedly so intoxicated he could not care for his own safety. The male, David Jaeger, 42, was arrested and booked into the jail.
11:45 p.m. A cohabitating couple was involved a verbal argument on Crystal Springs Road in Camino.
