Crime Log — Aug. 27-28

Aug. 27

7:00 a.m. 
A 62-year-old male homeowner reported their unoccupied vacation fifth-wheel trailer was burglarized on Sand Ridge Road in Placerville.

7:46 a.m. 
The reporting party reported that his vehicle was burglarized on Mira Loma Drive in Cameron Park.

8:00 a.m. A victim reported petty theft by unknown suspect(s) on Industrial Drive in Diamond Springs

8:00 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to a domestic violence report on North Shingle Road in Shingle Springs. Both parties were contacted and the female half, Jeri Acker, 52, was subsequently arrested on suspicion of domestic violence.

8:20 a.m. A 25-year-old male victim reported vandalism by unknown suspect(s) on Crystal Boulevard in Logtown.

8:35 a.m. A victim reported vandalism by unknown suspect(s) on Green Valley Road in El Dorado Hills.

11:50 a.m. Unknown suspect(s) entered into a locked bank-owned property on Sourdough Trail in Kelsey and stole a kitchen cabinet unit and a new kitchen stove from the residence. Three different shoe prints were located at the scene, but no suspect information is known at this time.

1:03 p.m. The suspect was placed under citizen’s arrest for alleged battery on Happy Lane in Diamond Springs. The suspect was also allegedly found in possession of a dangerous weapon, nunchaku. The suspect, Paul Hack, 38, was arrested and transported to county jail.

1:50 p.m. A 22-year-old male victim reported petty theft by possible known suspect(s) on Webster Lane in Rescue.

2:45 p.m.
 Reno Police Department requested assistance with obtaining a cell phone from a relative in Greenwood involved in a drug-related death investigation. The cell phone is to be forwarded to Reno PD for evidence.

7:30 p.m. An adult female was contacted after leaving her vehicle abandoned and blocking a roadway, Pleasant Valley Road in Placerville. The female allegedly exhibited signs of being under the influence of a controlled substance and admitted to as such. Dawn Hunter-Duran, 34, was subsequently arrested.

8:26 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to a verbal dispute on Royal Park Drive in Cameron Park. Upon arrival deputies discovered a home invasion had occurred. Deputies investigated the scene and forwarded a report to detectives for follow-up.

9:00 p.m. A female suspect, Denise Teahan, 49, was arrested for alleged domestic battery on Stonehurst Drive in El Dorado Hills.

11:27 p.m. Daniel Martella, 62, was arrested for alleged DUI on Highway 50 in Meyers.

Aug. 28

12:19 a.m. Deputies initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle with allegedly false registration tabs on Placerville Drive in Placerville. The driver, Deanna Lapointe, 56, was subsequently arrested for allegedly driving on a suspended license and outstanding warrants.

3:40 a.m. Deputies located a verbal dispute in the intersection of a highway near Cambridge Road in Cameron Par. Deputies arrested one subject, Kris Reed, 22, for alleged public intoxication and CHP completed field sobriety evaluations. CHP subsequently arrested the female driver, Ashli Bullock, 24, for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol.
