Aug. 4
3:10 a.m. Unknown suspect(s) entered Ace Hardware on Cameron Park Drive in Cameron Park by breaking the front door glass. Power tools were taken.
3:22 p.m. A complaint was made by a Garden Valley resident who was receiving harassing phone calls from her ex-husband. The male, Kevin Mode, 36, was arrested for an alleged probation violation.
6:13 Loss prevention officers detained a suspected shoplifter on Missouri Flat Road in Diamond Springs. Deputies interviewed the suspect who admitted she entered the store with the intent to steal items. The suspect, Orley Moshe, 26, was arrested om suspicion of burglary.
9:56 p.m. A deputy was patrolling the area of Nadowa Street and Apalachee Drive in South Lake Tahoe. A 46-year-old subject was contacted driving his vehicle and a subsequent investigation by CHP resulted in the subject’s arrest on suspicion of DUI.
Aug. 5
12:22 p.m. A male suspect was allegedly located hiding at residence on Smith Flat Cemetery Road in Placerville in violation of domestic violence restraining order. A female suspect, Teresa Simpson, 56, allegedly obstructed deputies when attempting to place male suspect, Richard Leblanc, 50, under arrest.
1:00 a.m. A female juvenile accidentally overdosed on her depression medication on Myrick Road in Mount Aukum. She was transported to Marshall Hospital by medics.
1:38 a.m. Two suspects broke the glass front door of a business on Carson Road in Camino in an attempt to enter the closed business. Deputies were involved in a foot pursuit of the suspects and a sheriff canine was deployed to apprehend the suspects. The two suspects were found to be juveniles, and were booked into juvenile hall.
2:00 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to a report of a battery on Town Center Boulevard in El Dorado Hills. The 23-year-old male victim could not remember the incident and could provide no details.
1:45 p.m. An inmate allegedly threatened bodily harm towards a correctional officer on Forni Road in Placerville.
4:52 p.m. An adult male and an adult female went missing when they did not arrive at their final destination of the music festival at Sopiago Springs in Mount Aukum.
Aug. 6
12 a.m. A 40-year-old male subject stated he was assaulted by several male suspects on Oak Street in Pollock Pines. The victim refused to provide any suspect information and stated he did not want to press charges.
12:35 a.m. Two males were involved in a verbal altercation on Pony Express Trail in Pollock Pines when one of the males allegedly said he was going to stab the other in the throat and then punched him in the nose. The suspect, Jacob Oliphant, 26, was placed under arrest on suspicion of battery and criminal threats.
1:42 a.m. An 18-year-old male, Scott Sanchez, 18, was allegedly engaged in sexual activity with a 14-year-old female in El Dorado Hills. Sanchez was arrested on two felony counts relating to sex with a minor.
7:30 a.m. A 16-year-old male juvenile was reported missing by his mother from Superior Drive in Cedar Grove.
7:45 a.m. A 73-year-old male victim reported vandalism by unknown suspect(s) on Turquoise Way in El Dorado Hills.
9:33 a.m. Deputies responded to an alleged attempted car jacking report on Durock Road in Cameron Park. Deputies and CHP arrived in the area and contacted the suspect. After a physical altercation between deputies and an EDSO canine unit, the suspect, Daniel Wright, 42, was taken into custody.
5:11 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to an alleged domestic violence call on Valley View Parkway in El Dorado Hills. Deputies investigated the incident and identified the dominant aggressor and Bryan Dority, 36, was subsequently arrested.
6:32 p.m. Clark Leieun, 34, allegedly attempted to use a fraudulent credit card on Red Hawk Parkway in Shingle Springs and was subsequently arrested.
9:20 p.m. A male subject, James Clark, 53, was arrested for allegedly being in possession of a controlled substance on Red Hawk Parkway in Shingle Springs.
Aug. 7
4:47 a.m. Unknown suspect(s) damaged a motorcycle that was parked in an apartment complex on Cimmarron Road in Cameron Park. There are no suspect leads.
12:21 p.m. A 17-year-old male juvenile was arrested for obstructing, delaying, interfering and the false imprisonment of an animal control officer on Liquid Amber Lane in Georgetown.
7:55 p.m. A verbal dispute between husband and wife occurred on Woodsman Loop in Greenstone.
11:00 p.m. A domestic dispute was reported on Carson Road in Camino.
Aug. 8
12:02 a.m. A husband and wife engaged in a verbal-only argument on Evergreen Court in Georgetown.
3:12 a.m. Deputies observed a vehicle weaving and unable to maintain its lane on Sacramento Avenue in South Lake Tahoe. Following a traffic stop and a DUI investigation, the driver, Cody Bass, 31, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
