Crime Log: Dec. 23

Dec. 23

1:57 a.m. A male subject was located in the garage of the 28-year-old female victim on Diamond Drive in Diamond Springs. The victim only saw the suspect crawling under the garage door. No items were taken from the residence; however, the suspect placed several items near the exit but was unable to grab them.

4:45 a.m. A group of people had a party at an apartment on Cimmarron Road in Cameron Park. One adult guest became drunk and allegedly refused to leave despite multiple requests from the residents. The guest allegedly shoved one of the residents and was punched by another adult male. The residents signed citizen’s arrest forms. The guest was subsequently arrested.

8:00 a.m. A 28-year-old male victim reported grand theft on Sudbury Road in Cameron Park by unknown suspect(s).

8:15 a.m. A male victim reported petty theft on Villagio Drive in El Dorado Hills by unknown suspect(s).

10:26 a.m.
 Unknown suspect(s) forced open 2 mailboxes and stole mail on Royal Drive in Cameron Park.

10:50 a.m. A burglary to a residence on Forest Road in Pollock Pines was reported. Michael Watson-Alpizar, 26, was subsequently arrested.

12:07 a.m. Between Dec. 21 and Dec. 23, an unknown suspect removed mail from the 57-year-old female victim’s mailbox on Kimberly Road in Cameron Park. The victim located the stolen mail lying on the ground approximately 15 yards from the mailbox.

1:09 p.m. A report of mail theft, occurring between the hours 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Dec. 23, was made on Hacienda Road in Cameron Park.

1:49 p.m. Petty theft was reported on Missouri Flat Road in Diamond Springs.

2:59 p.m. Shayla Braly, 18, was allegedly seen attempting to enter vehicles in the Placerville Safeway parking lot. When she was contacted, she was allegdly found in possession of stolen goods taken from Safeway. She stated she was with two other subjects and had entered the store with the intent to steal food. She was subsequently arrested.
