Crime Log: Dec. 24-26

Dec. 24

1:56 a.m. A known suspect allegedly confronted the 22-year-old male victim on Embarcadero Drive in El Dorado Hills and held his hands behind his back. As one suspect held his hands, another known male obtained a 16-ounce pint glass and struck the victim on his forehead, causing a 1-inch-to-2-inch laceration. Both suspects fled the scene.

5:53 a.m. A male victim awoke to find an unknown suspect in his house on Pimlico Lane in Rescue. The suspect allegedly 
fled the scene in one of the victim’s vehicles. The victim found another vehicle, two motorcycles and other miscellaneous property had also been taken from his house and garage

11:12 a.m. Chelsea Pedersen, 22, was cited and released for alleged theft from Walmart in Shingle Springs.

3:20 p.m. Deputies responded to a report of subjects tampering with mailboxes on Patterson Drive in Diamond Springs. Prior to arrival the subjects left the area. The vehicle was located. The driver and passenger, Donald Bozarth, 36, and Lisa Cooney, 31, were subsequently arrested for allegedly possessing stolen property and firearms while being felons.

Dec. 25

2:31 a.m. A father and son were allegedly involved in a physical altercation on Latham Lane in El Dorado Hills after returning home from a Christmas party.

9:24 a.m. A burglary was reported on El Dorado Road in Diamond Springs.

3:16 p.m. Three subjects were contacted near a closed business on Pleasant Valley Road in Diamond Springs. During contact one subject was allegedly found to be in possession of narcotic pills without a prescription. Casey Dobbs, 26, was arrested and transported to the county jail without incident.

8:45 p.m. A 31-year-old female victim reported that her roommate/uncle assaulted her on Beckett Drive in El Dorado Hills.

Dec. 26

5:07 a.m. Both subjects were involved in a verbal argument on Virada Road in Cameron Park. During the argument, the 25-year-old female suspect allegedly hit the 25-year-old male victim in the head with a cell phone charger. The victim sustained a visible injury.

10:52 a.m. A traffic stop on Morrene Drive in Placerville allegedly resulted in discovery of concentrated cannabis in 19-year-old male passenger’s possession.
