Crime log: Dec. 28, 2012-Jan. 1, 2013

Dec. 28

7:40 a.m. A 61-year-old male victim reported vandalism by unknown suspect(s) on Missouri Flat Road in Diamond Springs.

11:04 a.m. A male victim reported a residential burglary on Tokochi Street in South Lake Tahoe. The loss of power tools and damage at point of entry were recorded.

11:52 a.m. A victim reported vandalism and mail theft by unknown suspect(s) on Sanders Drive in Pollock Pines.

12:25 p.m. A 58-year-old female victim reported burglary by unknown suspect(s) on El Dorado Hills Boulevard in El Dorado Hills.

Dec. 29

12:53 p.m. A 33-year-old male victim and a witness reported a 52-year-old male suspect hit the victim with a vehicle at low speeds on Highway 50 in South Lake Tahoe. The suspect, identified as Lawrence Bass, was subsequently arrested.

6:29 p.m. A 13-year-old male juvenile was booked into juvenile hall for violation his probation on Paramount Pass in Placerville.

Dec. 30

2:10 a.m. A male adult allegedly came within 100 yards of an address and persons he was restrained from on Buckhorn Lane in Recue per a temporary restraining order. The male, Jon Metoyer, 42, was later located and arrested on multiple charges.

11:46 a.m. Gino Bedwell, 47, was arrested on a felony warrant on Shakori Drive in Christmas Valley. His vehicle was subsequently towed.

12:16 p.m. An unknown male subject inappropriately touched a female employee, 42, of a business on Plaza Goldorado Circle in Cameron Park.

2:13 p.m. A deputy sheriff on patrol on Veterans Way in Georgetown allegedly observed a male that he knew to have a suspended driver’s license driving a vehicle with an expired registration. The deputy made an enforcement stop, arrested the driver, identified as Peter Grandon, 40, and impounded his vehicle.

Dec. 31

12:48 a.m. Deputies were dispatched for a report of a 32-year-old male subject that was trespassing on private property on Red Hawk Parkway in Shingle Springs. A consent 
search of the suspect’s clothing allegedly revealed a methamphetamine pipe. The subject was cited and released at the scene. The report was forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office for review.

7:15 a.m. A 45-year-old male victim reported petty theft from a vehicle on Vine Street in El Dorado Hills.

7:35 a.m. A 27-year-old female victim reported petty theft from an unlocked vehicle by unknown suspect(s) on Carasco Court in El Dorado Hills.

7:55 a.m. A 65-year-old male victim reported vandalism by unknown suspect(s) on Culver Lane in Cameron Park.

8:15 a.m. A 20-year-old female victim reported vandalism by unknown suspect(s) on Estepa Drive in Cameron Park.

12:20 p.m. A 52-year-old male victim reported vandalism by unknown suspect(s) on Bass Lake Road in Cameron Park.

3:05 p.m. An unidentified black male adult stole the 27-year-old female victim’ s snowboard, valued at $500, from Sierra At Tahoe Road in Echo Summit.

Jan. 1

1:46 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to Main Street in Georgetown for a report of battery. One male victim was transported to hospital via ambulance and one suspect, identified as Kyle Harbuck, 31, was taken into custody and booked into jail for alleged battery with serious bodily injury.

3:10 a.m. A 40-year-old male suspect and a 45-year-old female victim were in a verbal argument on Old French Town Road in El Dorado that escalated when the suspect pushed his wife of 12 years with his hands. The victim did not sustain any visible injuries or complain of pain as a result of the alleged battery.
 The suspect left prior to arrival of deputies.

4:30 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to the Red Hawk Casino in Shingle Springs for a report of trespassing. The suspect, Claudia Brooks, 35, had warrants for her arrested and allegedly possessed controlled substance paraphernalia. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

7:43 a.m. A 22-year-old female reported that her boyfriend, 24, grabbed her by the neck as she was driving a vehicle on Arapahoe Street in Meyers. The case was forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office for review.

8:08 a.m. A crime report was made regarding alleged domestic violence on Lida Court in El Dorado Hills. The suspect, Grant Patterson, 28, was taken into custody without incident.
