Crime log: Feb. 25-27

Feb. 25

2:43 a.m. Unknown suspect(s) stole a laptop computer from a car parked on Mt. Ranier Way in El Dorado Hills.

11:46 a.m. A window screen was vandalized on Robin Lane in Cameron Park.

12:42 p.m. At an unknown time between Feb. 22 and noon on Feb. 25, unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle on Montridge Way in El Dorado Hills, but did not take anything.

4:11 p.m. Deputies completed an information report regarding vandalism on Montaire Drive in Latrobe.

6:20 p.m. 
Property was stolen from outside of a residence on Pony Express Trail in Pollock Pines. No suspect information.

6:40 p.m. An anonymous caller reported a female had been the victim of domestic violence on Forest Road in Fresh Pond. Contacted and denied being a victim of domestic violence.

Feb. 26

10:52 a.m. A 74-year-old female subject’s house was burglarized on Gilmore Road in Pollock Pines. There was no suspect information.

12:09 p.m. Unknown suspect(s) stole the 31-year-old female victim’s purse on Cambridge Road in Cameron Park. The purse contained several items, with a financial loss of approximately $580.

2:10 p.m. A 33-year-old female victim reported an unknown suspect had cut the chain on her gate and possibly accessed her property on Paso Way in Pleasant Valley.

Feb. 27

9:26 a.m. A subject reported an attempted burglary on Oak Street in Pollock Pines and lights worth a total of about $75 were stolen from outside her rental. The subject suspected ex-tenants; however, prosecution was not desired. The subject requested extra patrol.

12:00 p.m. A 70-year-old male victim reported vandalism by possible known suspect(s) on Dos Vista Drive in Rescue.

7:05 p.m. During a domestic argument, Shannon Cheyne, 35, allegedly struck a 37-year-old male victim in the face on Harlington Circle in El Dorado Hills. No injuries were reported. Cheyne was arrested for alleged domestic battery.
