Crime log: Jan. 21-23

Jan. 21

9:40 a.m. A 37-year-old male was arrested for allegedly driving on a suspended license on Greenwood Road in Garden Valley.

5:53 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to an identity theft report at a residence on Colony Court in Placerville. The known suspect, Erik Thomson, 27, was at the residence and subsequently taken into custody.

6:00 a.m. An adult female, 65, from Florida reported she sent items to an adult female on Secret Lake Trail in Cool to use for a project and the adult female in Cool is refusing to return the property.

11:30 p.m.
 Deputies contacted a male suspect who is alleged to have knowingly presented to deputies a suspended driver’s license on Harvard Way in El Dorado Hills. The suspect, Saxon Elkins, 18, was cited and released.

Jan. 22

8:10 a.m. A female juvenile, 16, was arrested for alleged violation of probation on Pleasant Valley Road in Diamond Springs. The female was booked into the Placerville juvenile hall facility without incident.

8:54 a.m. Unknown suspect(s) stole the 40-year-old female victim’s purse on La Crescenta Drive in Cameron Park. There were several iems in the purse and the victim sustained a financial loss of approximately $307.

10:53 a.m. Unknown suspect(s) removed contents of a package mailed to a 56-year-old male victim on Carson Drive in Camino.

1:26 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to a possible vandalism report on Rocky Ridge Road in Placerville. Deputies determined the case was a civil issue and an information report was completed.

1:35 p.m. A 42-year-old male victim reported petty theft by unknown suspect(s) on Brisbane Circle in El Dorado Hills.

1:50 p.m. A 54-year-old male victim reported vehicle burglary by unknown suspect(s) on Hearst Place in El Dorado Hills.

2:08 p.m. A 40-year-old female reported that she received text messages challenging her to a fight in Mont Meadows. She declined prosecution.

5:13 p.m.
 Deputies responded to a report of a cell phone theft from a business on Missouri Flat Road in Diamond Springs by a 22-year-old female victim.

Jan. 23

8:10 a.m. 
A victim reported vandalism to school property by unknown suspect(s) on Pine Street in Pollock Pines.

8:25 a.m. A 68-year-old male victim reported mail theft by unknown suspect(s) on Lakeside Drive in Oak Hill.

8:45 a.m. A subject allegedly threatened federal Forest Service employees. The subject was allegedly intoxicated and ran into a residence on Caldor Road in Fairplay upon contact by Forest Service law enforcement. The subject was found inside residence and arrested by a Forest Service officer.

10:42 a.m. Unknown suspect(s) stole a gas-powered generator on Deloris Road in Shingle Springs. The victim sustained a financial loss of approximately $3,200. There was no information on suspects.
