Jan. 24

12:31 a.m. A 45-year-old male reported a physical altercation with his 42-year-old wife on Piazza Place in El Dorado Hills. The female could not be located.

5:23 a.m. Deputies responded to a residence on Pony Express Trail in Camino regarding a vehicle burglary report. A screwdriver was collected at the scene. No suspect has been identified at this time.

7:26 a.m. A 16-year-old male juvenile suspect cited for possession of marijuana on school grounds on Ponderosa Road in Rescue.

12:48 p.m. A reporting party reported unlicensed solicitors on Ridgeway Drive in Pollock Pines. A search of the neighborhood located an associated subject. The subject was advised regarding permits and solicitation laws. The subject was released with verbal admonishment.

2:00 p.m. A laptop went missing from the post office on Post Street in El Dorado Hills.

2:38 p.m. A 13-year-old male juvenile was allegedly found to be in possession of marijuana while on school property on Snows Road in Camino. The school refused to cooperate with prosecution but asked the marijuana be collected and booked for destruction.

3:28 p.m.
 Deputies responded to a report of a 22-year-old male subject unlawfully entering a residence on Sly Park Road in Pollock Pines to steal a dog.

3:47 p.m. Deputies responded to a report of a theft of cash and jewelry from a residence on Harris Road in Camino.

5:56 p.m. Deputies responded to a report of a theft by defrauding on Pony Express Trail in Cedar Grove. The victim mailed money to a party in exchange for a counterfeit cashier’s check as part of an elaborate secret shopper scam.

5:25 p.m.
 Deputies responded to a report of damaged gates at a property on Heartland Road in Oak Hill.

Jan. 25

1:15 a.m. Deputies initiated a traffic stop for an alleged traffic infraction on Patterson Drive in Diamond Springs and determined the driver was allegedly driving without a driver’s license. The driver, Raymond Reyes IV, 26, was cited and released without incident.
