Crime Log — July 17-18

July 17

1:57 a.m. Deputies observed a vehicle unable to maintain its lane and then make an illegal u-turn driving off the roadway and over the curb on Emerald Bay Road in South Lake Tahoe. Following a traffic stop and a DUI investigation, the driver, William Crowell, 51, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol.

3:34 a.m. A male subject, 18, went to get cigarettes and did not return to his home on Pescara Place in El Dorado Hills. The male has been entered into the missing person system.

4:00 a.m. A husband and wife that have been married for 64 years got into a verbal altercation that resulted in the husband allegedly slapping the wife on Doe View Place in Pollock Pines. The husband, Marseco Aranda, 86, was placed under arrest for alleged battery of a spouse.

11:55 a.m. Unknown suspect(s) removed a bicycle from the rear of a residence on Crow Street in Meyers.

1:14 p.m.
 A report was taken regarding a petty theft from the Bel Air Market on Palmer Drive in Cameron Park. The suspect, Jonell Lord, 57, was issued a citation for alleged petty theft and released.

3:32 p.m. Unknown suspect(s) used a 40-year-old female Coloma victim’s credit card information to make purchases. The victim sustained a financial loss of approximately $431.

July 18

1:11 a.m. A couple discovered their vehicle broken into and garage door opener taken from in front of their residence on Copperwood Way in El Dorado Hills.

6:46 a.m. Subject reported harassing phone calls in Placerville. No prosecution was desired. He also claimed there was physical violence between his ex-wife and her new boyfriend. The ex-wife and new boyfriend denied the allegations.

9:50 a.m. A 54-year-old female victim reported forgery by unknown suspect(s) on Post Street in El Dorado Hills.

10:30 a.m. A married couple was involved in a domestic dispute on Majar Court in Cameron Park.

11:00 a.m. A 53-year-old female victim reported a vehicle burglary by unknown suspect(s) on Lomond Drive in El Dorado Hills.

12:57 p.m. Two subjects were involved in a physical altercation on Forni Road in Placerville. Neither party desired prosecution.
