Crime Log: July 26-27

July 26

12:25 a.m. The suspect and the victim had been in a dating relationship for approximately 18 months and lived in the same residence. Both subjects were involved in a verbal argument on Product Drive in Shingle Springs. During the argument the 23-year-old male suspect allegedly pushed the 23-year-old female victim. The victim sustained a minor visible injury.

9:45 a.m. A burglary on Front Street in Georgetown was reported.

10:26 a.m. 
Jacob Morris, 18, was detained by loss prevention at Walmart in Diamond Springs. He was cited and released for alleged petty theft.

11:28 a.m. A burglary on El Dorado Hills Boulevard in El Dorado Hills was reported.

11:41 a.m. A subject was arrested on Ocaso Court in Cameron Park for warrants and transported to the jail. Upon arrival it was determined a mistake was made and the subject had no warrants. He was transported back home.

11:51 a.m. An unknown suspect allegedly passed a counterfeit $50 bill at a cafe on Town Center Boulevard in El Dorado Hills. The suspect was captured on video, but her identity is unknown.

2:12 p.m. Domestic violence was reported on Terracina Drive in El Dorado Hills.

6:15 p.m. Two unknown suspects, one adult male and one adult female, allegedly battered a male, 54, during a road rage incident on Park Drive in El Dorado Hills.

9:20 p.m. A subject was arrested on Thompson Hill Road in Coloma for allegedly being under the influence of a controlled substance.

9:45 p.m. A male subject, 57, reported that his cell phone was stolen after he forgot it on top of a slot machine at Red Hawk Casino in Shingle Springs.

July 27

6:44 a.m. A citizen reported a domestic argument on Forni Road in Placerville. Upon further investigation it was allegedly determined domestic violence occurred. The suspect was arrested and booked into the jail.

11:03 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to a report of a dog allegedly locked in a vehicle on a hot day on Red Hawk Parkway in Shingle Springs. The owner of the dog, Sherwin Pace, 42, was issued a citation and released at the scene.

4:42 p.m. A 49-year-old female was the victim of alleged battery on Lindberg Avenue in Diamond Springs.

6:37 p.m. A married couple was allegedly in a physical altercation on Pony Express Trail in Cedar Grove. One subject had visible physical injuries the other, Lovevenus Anton, 33, was arrested and transported to the jail.

8:21 p.m. 
A 20-year-old female victim and the suspect, Cameron Miller, 19, had been in a dating relationship for approximately three months and they reside in a same residence. Both subjects were involved in a verbal argument on Palmer Drive in Cameron Park. During the argument, Miller allegedly grabbed the victim by her neck and squeezed.
