June 16

5:38 p.m. A customer allegedly punched a manager of a business on Red Hawk Parkway in Shingle Springs in the shoulder and then left the business. The manager signed a citizen’s arrest form for battery on a person. Deputies contacted the customer as he was driving up to his house. CHP determined he was allegedly driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and placed Garold Patrick, 60, under arrest.

9:21 p.m. An adult male allegedly discharged a shotgun four times in the backyard of a house on Cappella Drive in Diamond Springs. He was allegedly found to be highly intoxicated at the time. He was arrested on suspicion of negligent discharge of a firearm.

12:57 Dustin Ellert, 28, Christian Linn, 32, and Phillip Cornelius, 33, were arrested for alleged drug charges on Red Hawk Parkway in Shingle Springs.
