Crime Log: March 15-17

March 15

1:50 a.m. Deputies observed an intoxicated male staggering in the roadway on Bedford Avenue in Placerville.
 He was found to allegedly be in possession of two unlawfully concealed knives and one prohibited switchblade knife. The subject, Curtis Westmoreland, 29, was arrested without incident.

3:42 a.m.
 A 31-year-old male was allegedly battered by a female, identified as Heidi Guilici, 32, on Cameron Park Drive in Cameron Park. The victim signed a citizen’s arrest form and Guilici was arrested

10:40 a.m. A 29-year-old male victim reported petty theft by unknown suspect(s) on Camp Snowline Road in Cedar Grove.

10:50 a.m. A 31-year-old male victim reported mail theft by unknown suspect(s) on South Shingle Road in Shingle Springs.

2:30 p.m. The victims’ residence on Steep Lane in Shingle Springs was hit by an orange. The homeowners believe a neighbor is responsible.

March 16

5:18 a.m. Between approximately 10:45 p.m. on March 15 and 4 a.m. on March 16, unknown suspect(s) vandalized and exploded a chemical bottle-style bomb in a parked vehicle on Millbrae Road in Cameron Park
. “A rock was observed inside a broken window of the locked vehicle,” said El Dorado County Sheriff’s Lt. Tim Becker. “A white substance was covering the interior of the vehicle.  Two plastic water bottles were inside the vehicle. One was ruptured and the other appeared to be swelled from pressure within the bottle. No other damage was seen.”

9:03 a.m. A 68-year-old female victim reported a vandalism occurred at her residence on Calais Way in El Dorado Hills.

9:05 a.m. Between approximately 3 a.m. and 8:45 a.m., unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s unlocked car on Stanford Lane in El Dorado Hills. The suspects took a large amount of the 44-year-old female victim’s son’s baseball equipment. Suspects fled to an unknown location. No one was seen or heard.

10:00 a.m. A 61-year-old female victim reported vandalism occurred at her residence on Lake Ridge Oaks in El Dorado Hills.

11:03 a.m. A 59-year-old male victim reported vandalism occurred at his residence on Knollwood Drive in Cameron Park.

March 17

12:00 a.m.
 Burglaries to several cabins on a property on Whitehall Canyon Road in Whitehall were reported.

1:20 a.m. Deputies issued a citation to an allegedly unlicensed driver, Reynaldo Parra, 18, on El Dorado Hills Boulevard in El Dorado Hills.

10:39 a.m. A 64-year-old female victim reported a possible destructive device exploded in his driveway on Woodleigh Lane in Cameron Park during the night. A report was taken to document the incident.

7:57 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to a burglary call on Merrychase Drive in Cameron Park. Deputies investigated the scene and later completed a report concerning alleged vandalism, which was forwarded to detectives.

8:54 p.m. A burglary to vehicle was occurred on Beechwood Drive in El Dorado Hills where unknown suspect(s) took money from the vehicle.
