Crime log: March 21-24

March 21

7:14 a.m. A 48-year-old male victim reported vandalism and petty theft by unknown suspect(s) on Rustic Road in Cameron Park.

7:55 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to a burglary report at a residence on North Shingle Road in Shingle Springs.

8:39 a.m. A crime report was made regarding a commercial burglary on Cameron Park Drive in Cameron Park. A suspect entered business from an interior wall from a vacant suite and stole a coin machine. Video surveillance of the incident was obtained with minimal suspect identification. Suspect(s) are unknown.

8:45 a.m. A 55-year-old male victim reported vandalism by unknown suspect(s) on Horizon Drive in Oak Hill.

9:20 a.m. A 42-year-old male victim reported burglary by possible known suspect(s) on Brogan Way in El Dorado Hills.

10:45 a.m.
 Unknown suspect(s) stole items from a 42-year-old male victim’s unlocked house and garage on Davidson Road in El Dorado.

4:30 p.m. A suspect, identified as Jason Simpson, 28, was contacted during a traffic stop on El Dorado Hills Boulevard in El Dorado Hills. He had exited the vehicle and was allegedly intoxicated. Simpson allegedly resisted deputies while being arrested.

March 22

5:50 a.m. An 53-year-old male and 33-year-old female that have been dating and living together for the past four years when, during an argument, the male allegedly dragged the female around their house on Outingdale Road in Mount Aukum. The female had visible injuries

8:00 a.m.
 A victim reported vandalism to EID property on South Street in El Dorado by unknown suspect(s).

8:13 a.m.
 Between 5:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., a vehicle was burglarized and multiple items were stolen on Valley View Parkway in El Dorado Hills.

8:20 a.m. A 35-year-old victim reported vandalism on Excelsior Road in Placerville by unknown suspect(s).

2:30 p.m. 
A female in El Dorado Hills reported that her ex-boyfriend was possibly decoding government documents and personal information and placing it on the internet.

2:41 p.m. A 79-year-old female victim had her purse stolen from her shopping cart while browsing a store on Missouri Flat Road in Diamond Springs. The case was deemed inactive due to lack of investigative leads.

March 23

12:47 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to a brandishing a deadly weapon call on Pearl Place in Diamond Springs. The report was determined to be unfounded.

2:17 a.m. 
A private security guard reported being verbally assaulted while on duty on Harvard Way in El Dorado Hills.

8:00 a.m. Unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the 37-year-old male victim’s storage shed, located in the middle of his shingle springs apartment complex on Market Court in Shingle Springs and stole items from inside the shed. Video evidence from a nearby complex showed the suspect’s truck.

8:55 a.m. A 28-year-old female suspect entered a store on Pleasant Valley Road in Pleasant Valley and allegedly stole $2,500 from the safe.

9:25 a.m. The victim reported that someone stole items from his pickup during the night on Market Court in Shingle Springs.

9:47 a.m. A male and female, 19, were allegedly involved in a verbal and physical altercation on Sierra Vista Road in Rescue. The male was allegedly observed putting his right arm around the female’s throat. Ryan Smith, 21, was subsequently arrested.

11:43 a.m. An unknown suspect called the 36-year-old Diamond Springs victim and made threats.

12:48 p.m. Unknown subject(s) took gasoline from U-Haul trucks that were parked on the 22-year-old male victim’s property on Latrobe Road in El Dorado Hills over the course of two months. There are no suspect leads at this time.

1:55 p.m. A male adult stole his ex-girlfriend’s barbecue grill and threatened to kill her on Pony Express Trail in Pollock Pines. However, there are conflicting stories. The male adult is also allegedly staying with his parents in violation of a restraining order his step-mom has against him.

3:47 p.m. 
A female subject walked into the Baskin Robbins in Town Center in El Dorado Hills and passed a counterfeit $20 bill. The subject was never identified and there are no suspect leads.

6:45 p.m. Unknown suspect(s) put a hole in the 56-year-old victim’s garden hose and chipped a large portion of paint off her patio enclosure on Bass Lake Road in Cameron Park.

7:57 p.m. Two juveniles allegedly drove a golf cart around private property on High Hill Road in Camino without the owner’s permission. No prosecution was desired.

11:22 p.m. A male and female, 58, who live together had an argument on Pony Express Trail in Pollock Pines. The male allegedly pulled the hair of the female and twisted her arm. The male, identified as Joe McClenahan, 59, was subsequently arrested for domestic battery.

March 24

10:49 a.m. Deputies responded to the Montgomery Estates area in South Lake Tahoe for a grand theft report. The victim’s “bear box” trash container was taken from outside of the home.

12:11 p.m. 
Unknown subject(s) forced entry into a shed on the Camerado Middle School campus in Cameron Park that contained gym equipment. Nothing was taken and there are no suspect leads at this time.

1:15 p.m. Anthony Ramirez, 29, was allegedly drunk in public and battered a security officer at the Sierra at Tahoe Ski Resort. Ryan Reynolds, 26, was allegedly drunk in public and during a search incident to arrest, some prescription drugs were found in his possession.
 Both men were subsequently arrested.
