March 29

9:42 a.m. A 46-year-old male had a weed eater and radio stolen by unknown suspect(s) while he was away for a week from his residence on Silver Drive in Diamond Springs.

9:49 a.m. 
Unknown suspect(s) entered a 62-year-old female victim’s residence on Idle Creek Drive in Shingle Springs by using her spare key. Once in the residence, the suspect(s) stole some jewelry and cash. The victim sustained a financial loss of approximately $12,113.

12:00 p.m. Sherrie Atkinson-Donnell, 48, stopped for alleged vehicle code violations on Ponderosa Street in South Lake Tahoe and was allegedly determined to be driving on a suspended license.

2:13 p.m. A suspect stole a laptop computer from an electronics store on Fowler Lane in Diamond Springs during business hours.

3:24 p.m. Joshua Knight, 22, was detained for an alleged vehicle code violation on Busch Way in Myers and was subsequently arrested for allegedly furnishing/transporting marijuana. The driver also allegedly provided a false name and admitted to receiving two citations recently using his brother’s name.

6:23 p.m. Deputies responded to a report of a detained shoplifter on Missouri Flat Rad in Diamond Springs. The subject, Ashley Sloan, 29, was arrested for the alleged theft without incident.

6:45 p.m. Unknown suspect(s) burglarized a school on Cave Valley Road in Cool.

7:50 p.m. Deputies responded to a report of an intoxicated 15-year-old male juvenile damaging his 31-year-old mother’s house on Pony Express Trail in Pollock Pines. The juvenile was subsequently arrested for alleged vandalism.

10:00 p.m. Deputies responded to a report of a detained shoplifter on Missouri Flat Road in Diamond Springs. Sharon Barker, 56, was arrested and booked for the alleged theft without incident.

11:21 p.m. A 40-year-old female victim temporarily misplaced his cell phone at Red Hawk Casino in Shingle Springs. When the victim returned to retrieve cell phone, she discovered it was missing. She traced cell phone to an address in El Dorado Hills.

March 30

1:45 a.m. Four to six unknown males forced entry into a 19-year-old male victim’s home on Hampshire Place in El Dorado Hills by forcing the male to the ground and kicking him after he opened the door. One male suspect began searching the residence but was interrupted by another family member, a 50-year-old female. All subjects fled the residence on foot.

4:29 a.m. A male suspect was seen stealing mail from apartment building mailboxes on Applegrove Court in El Dorado Hills. The stolen mail allegedly contained sensitive personal identification information. The suspect, Timothy Martin, 20, was allegedly found in possession of suspect was arrested for identity theft and mail theft.

4:50 p.m. The victims, an 82-year-old male and a 76-year-old female, left their residence on Shiloh Court in Placerville for two hours and returned home to discover unknown suspect(s) had stolen firearms, jewelry and an antique music box.

5:45 p.m. A 68-year-old female victim claimed her grandson, 30, had stolen a metal toolbox from the front yard of her residence on Gilmore Road in Pollock Pines. Her grandson claimed the toolbox was his and he did not steal it. Neither party could provide proof of ownership at the time of the incident.

6:11 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to a report of a battery on Valley View Parkway in El Dorado HIlls and the suspect, Kristen Mello, 33, was subsequently arrested.
