March 3

3:59 a.m. Unknown subject(s) attempted to steal a vehicle on Rontree Lane in Mount Aukum.

7:44 a.m. Two suspects allegedly vandalized a 19-year-old female victim’s vehicle on Mira Loma Drive in Cameron Park by slashing three tires and carving obscenities into the paint. Both suspects were interviewed and the case was submitted to the DA for review.

10:00 a.m. A juvenile was cited at Ponderosa High School for alleged possession of marijuana on campus.

11:14 a.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Highway 50 in Cameron Park for expired registration. Two of the occupants were found to be on searchable probation and one subject, Gwendolyn Kendrick, 32, was allegedly found in possession of shaved keys. The subject was cited and released.

11:30 a.m. A 69-year-old female was the victim of petty theft on Boondock Trail in Mount Aukum.

12:08 p.m. A 70-year-old male was the victim of petty theft on Westacre Road in Placerville.

12:40 p.m. An 85-year-old female victim reported petty theft on Red Hawk Parkway in Shingle Springs by unknown suspect(s).

12:57 p.m. A 31-year-old male victim in Rescue reported grand theft via Internet fraud by known suspect(s).

1:20 p.m. Unknown suspect(s) kicked in the rear door to a garage on Lake Tahoe Boulevard in South Lake Tahoe. The only property missing from the house was a female’s leather jacket.

1:25 p.m. 
Unknown suspect(s) went inside of a fenced yard on Industrial Drive in Diamond Springs and stole clothing.

1:44 p.m. A 64-year-old male victim reported petty theft from a unlocked vehicle on Perry Creek Road in Mount Aukum by unknown suspect(s).

2:16 p.m. TJ Rodenbaugh was arrested in front of the county jail for alleged domestic battery.

3:45 p.m. A male subject was arrested on Red Hawk Parkway in Shingle Springs for alleged possession of methamphetamine.

3:58 p.m. A subject witnessed a male strike his wife, 33, in the face, causing bleeding. They left the scene and were contacted at another party’s house on Pony Express Trail in Pollock Pines. They both denied the assault took place. The male was arrested.

7:59 p.m. Contact was made with Joseph Mahnke, 33, on Cambridge Road in Cameron Park.He consented to a search of a vehicle, which allegedly revealed a stolen chainsaw. He allegedly acknowledged possession of the property and was booked into El Dorado County Jail. The subject was also booked for misdemeanor bench warrants.

12:06 a.m. Dawn Zink, 40, was arrested on Spruce Avenue in Pollock Pines for allegedly being under the influence of a controlled substance

12:56 a.m. Courtney Reed, 50, struck her live-in boyfriend, 52, with an open hand on Sweeney Road in Fairplay.

10:00 a.m. 
Unknown suspect(s) took bicycles from an apartment complex on Virada Road in Cameron Park.

10:15 a.m. Randall McDaniel, 46, was arrested on Patrick Lane in Pollock Pines for alleged possession of a controlled substance.
