Crime log: March 9-14

March 9

1:14 a.m. Contact was made with a subject who allegedly had a useable amount of a crystal-like substance that tested presumptive positive for methamphetamine on Red Hawk Parkway in Shingle Springs. A device used to ingest the controlled substance was also allegedly located. A records check was conducted on a second subject, revealing he had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. Both subjects, Dustin Eastus, 21, and William Powell, 22, were subsequently arrested.

2:49 a.m. A 17 year-old juvenile was cited and released for allegedly giving false ID to a peace officer on Forni Road in Placerville.

9:39 a.m. A subject in Sly Park feels the family of her ex-husband is harassing her.

10:03 a.m. A vehicle was damaged when it was egged on Missouri Flat Road in Diamond Springs.

11:14 a.m. Livestock was shot on Treasure Lane in El Dorado. The suspect is unknown.

12:22 p.m. A male subject, Tristan Roberts, 21, was cited and released for allegedly driving on a suspended license on Coach Lane in Cameron Park.

12:27 p.m. 
Unknown person(s) stole money from the 53-year-old female victim’s checking account via an ATM on Jameson Beach Road in South Lake Tahoe.

7:52 p.m. Unknown suspects forced entry on the front door of a residence on Greenstone Road in El Dorado and ransacked the interior. Cash and jewelry was stolen and the suspect(s) fled in an unknown direction.

9:00 p.m. Two suspects allegedly devised a plan to enter a store on Coach Lane in Cameron Park and steal alcohol. A loss prevention employee detained both suspects, Brandon Kinnen, 19, and Crystal Wood, 28, after allegedly exiting the store without paying for the alcohol. The suspects were subsequently arrested.

March 10

12:34 a.m. Unknown suspect(s) forced entry into a shed on school property on Cave Valley Road in Cool.

12:30 p.m. Two subjects, a 67-year-old and a 54-year-old, were allegedly involved in a physical altercation at Red Hawk Casino in Shingle Springs. No prosecution was desired.

1:50 p.m. Two unknown male juveniles allegedly took electronic devices from a cellular store on Palmer Drive in Cameron Park without paying for them. There are no suspect leads at this time.

5:45 p.m. A 17-year-old female juvenile allegedly physically assaulted her mother’s boyfriend, 44, on Frontier Road in Pollock Pines after he told her to hit him during a verbal argument.

8:38 p.m. A female subject, Jennifer Crow, 34, was contacted and arrested for an outstanding warrant and for alleged possession of controlled substance paraphernalia on Cold Springs Road in Placerville.

March 11

2:56 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to a vandalism call on Fairway Drive in Cameron Park.

6:25 a.m. A 65-year-old male victim from South Lake Tahoe reported frequent annoying phone calls with suspect information. The victim did not request prosecution. The 57-year-old male suspect contacted and agreed to stop calling.

8:20 a.m. A 54-year-old male victim reported vandalism on De Sabla Road in Cameron Park by unknown suspect(s).

10:25 a.m. A 62-year-old female subject in El Dorado Hills received annoying phone calls from a previous friend.

3:59 p.m. 
Deputies were dispatched to a vandalism call on La Crescenta Drive in Cameron Park.

4:00 p.m. A suspect was found sitting in his car at a gas station in Cool near Highway 49. He was found to have an active Placer County arrest warrant and was on Placer County searchable probation. The suspect, identified as James Daniel, 30, was allegedly found in possession of a large hunting knife, a violation of his probation.

5:57 p.m. Contact was made with a subject who was allegedly observed dropping a methamphetamine pipe on the Red Hawk Casino floor. Deputies contacted the subject where he allegedly admitted to dropping the pipe. A consent search of his vehicle allegedly revealed a substance that tested presumptive positive for methamphetamine. The suspect, Brice Beckom, 41, was transported and booked into the county jail.

March 12

8:30 a.m. A 27-year-old female suspect entered the Cameron Park courthouse. During the screening process, the suspect presented prescription pills without a prescription. The pills are a schedule 3 narcotic. Brooke Galloway, 27, was subsequently arrested and booked without incident.

9:31 a.m. 
The subject evicted a tenant and later reported damage to residence and items missing on Sugar Loaf Avenue in Kyburz.

10:30 a.m. Deputies responded to a domestic battery report on Pony Express Trail in Pollock Pines. The male suspect, 30, left the residence on foot prior to deputies’ arrival.

12:11 p.m. Deputies responded to a report of domestic violence on Westville Train in Cool.

12:25 p.m. A 43-year-old female victim reported grand theft from a possibly unlocked vehicle on Amethyst Drive in Cameron Park.

2:23 p.m. A report was made regarding the petty theft of a rototiller from an open carport on Green Valley Road in Rescue.

2:31 p.m. Janna Wallace, 35, was detained for suspected petty theft on Missouri Flat Road in Placerville. An investigation revealed the subject had a prior burglary conviction. Wallace was arrested and booked.

9:53 p.m.
 An unknown subject unlawfully entered into a vehicle on Kentfield Court in Cameron Park and stole items.

10:18 p.m. Two subjects were contacted in the Red Hawk Casino parking garage. Both subjects, John Watkins, 54, and Ceceilia Sayala, 48, were subsequently arrested on drug-related charges and booked in to jail.

March 13

12:39 a.m. A formerly dating couple became involved in an argument, which led to the male allegedly slapping the 20-year-old female and then pushing her into bushes on Vine Street in El Dorado Hills. Nasser Bseiso, 19, was cited and released.

March 14

8:00 a.m. A 44-year-old female victim reported vandalism by unknown suspect(s) on Dymaxion Way in El Dorado Hills.

8:15 a.m. A 48-year-old male victim reported vandalism by unknown suspect(s) on Rustic Road in Cameron Park.
