May 19

12:56 a.m. Phillip Wright, 43, was arrested on Coach Lane in Cameron Park for allegedly being under the influence of a controlled substance.

6:50 a.m. A 49-year-old male victim reported that someone cut the catalytic converter from his vehicle on Fairway Drive in Cameron Park during the night.

9:24 a.m. A burglary was reported on Mount View Court in Cameron Park.

10:51 a.m. Elizabeth Campbell, 35, allegedly entered Walmart in Diamond Springs with the intent to steal merchandise. She allegedly concealed merchandise in her purse and in her clothing before leaving the store without paying for the items.

11:26 a.m. 
A school faculty member on Garden Valley Road in Garden Valley reported a 14-year-old female juvenile student was allegedly in possession of marijuana on school grounds.

2:58 p.m.Deputies were dispatched to Sand Ridge Road in Gold Beach for a mentally disturbed person call. Deputies ultimately arrested the suspect, Michael Svoboda, 52, for allegedly being under the influence of a controlled substance

5:00 p.m. The possible theft of $1800 in cash was reported on Grass Lake Way in South Lake Tahoe.

6:47 p.m.Between approximately 11:10 p.m. on May 18 and approximately 11:30 a.m. on May 19, an unknown suspect took a catalytic converter from a vehicle parked on Brook Mar Drive in El Dorado Hills.

10:07 p.m.Deputies responded to a verbal altercation in progress on Cambridge Road in Cameron Park. Upon arrival, it was allegedly discovered that Jessica Thompson, 32, who was supervising the children in the home, was under the influence of methamphetamine.

May 20

8:44 a.m. Grand theft was reported on Bates Circle in El Dorado Hills.

2:17 p.m.Deputies were dispatched to a report of a theft from a 99-year-old female victim on Amoloc Lane in Lotus.

3:22 p.m.A 52-year-old female Placerville victim used the Internet to apply for a personal loan, which she later discovered to be a non-existing fraudulent entity after giving them nearly $1800.

May 21

1:48 a.m. 
Bruce Vanderpool, 55, was arrested for allegedly trespassing at a public business on Red Hawk Parkway in Shingle Springs.

9:45 a.m. Unknown suspect(s) unlawfully forced entry into the victim’s garage on Karavi Drive in El Dorado Hills and stole items.

1:51 p.m.The pilot of an airplane lost control while trying to land on a runway on Cameron Park Drive in Cameron Park. A gust of wind turned the plane sideways in the air. The left wing and prop hit the tarmac and the plane flipped over upside-down along the side of the runway. The 78-year-old male pilot, who was the sole occupant of the plane, was treated on scene for minor injuries.

2:23 p.m.Two subjects entered a store on Missouri Flat Road in Diamond Springs and one allegedly removed items without paying.

6:15 p.m. A burglary on Sierra Pines Road in Echo Summit was reported.
