Crime Log: May 24-25

May 24

6:20 p.m.
 An unknown suspect allegedly stole a necklace from a retail store on Missouri Flat Road in Diamond Springs. The incident was observed after the fact by loss prevention on video surveillance.

7:45 p.m. Andrew Holtzen, 21, was arrested for alleged battery against his father, 62, on Martel Creek Road in Rescue.

7:58 p.m. Deputies responded to a report of a domestic argument with broken property on Springer Road in Pleasant Valley. Travis Bare, 34, was later taken into custody for alleged domestic battery.

9:30 p.m. Forced entry was made into a vacation home in Pollock Pines. Various items were stolen and several items were moved around the house.

9:58 p.m. Logan Krontz, 22, was cited for alleged possession of marijuana and speeding on Francisco Drive in El Dorado Hills.

11:03 p.m. Deputies responded to a disturbance call at an apartment on Oak Street in Pollock Pines.
 Deputies learned a married couple’s new pit bull attacked both of them. They suffered moderate injuries and were taken to the hospital. Animal control responded and took possession of the pit bull.

May 25

1:29 a.m. A male subject allegedly threatened another male subject, 17, with a knife on Platt Circle in El Dorado Hills. The male subject fled the scene with a female subject

1:31 a.m. A business on Francisco Drive in El Dorado Hills was burglarized.

2:30 a.m. A female subject allegedly witnessed four male adults enter her father’s and brother’s vehicles outside of their home on Sterling Way in Cameron Park. The male subjects fled the scene on bicycles. Three males, all 16, were later arrested.

5:57 a.m. The reporting party reported that vandalism had occurred at a country club on Royal Drive in Cameron Park.

8:26 a.m. The victim reported that someone stole a bicycle from his yard on Green Landing Court in Cameron Park.

8:36 a.m. At an unknown time between May 24 at 8 p.m. and May 25 at 7 a.m. hours, unknown suspect(s) entered the 36-year-old male victim’s unlocked vehicle on Concordia Drive in El Dorado Hills and took the victim’s wallet.

8:45 a.m. Two stolen bicycles, under $400, were reported on Cambridge Road in Cameron Park.

9:00 a.m. A bicycle theft, under $400, was reported on Merrywood lane in Cameron Park.

9:04 a.m. The 75-year-old female victim reported that someone moved her backyard patio furniture onto the adjacent golf course and had broken her glass tabletop. This case is possibly related to suspects arrested in another case.

9:28 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to a follow-up to a domestic violence call in Pleasant Valley. Deputies assisted the victim by removing the firearms from the residence for safekeeping.

9:41 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to a verbal disturbance on Fall Street in El Dorado. A female subject, 19, reported that a male suspect, 41, allegedly choked her during a dispute.

9:54 a.m. Between 3 a.m. and 8:45 a.m., unknown suspect(s) pried open the door to a 26-year-old victim’s business on Durock Road in Cameron Park and stole a large amount of electronics valued at approximately $20,000.

10:01 a.m. During the nighttime hours, two subjects allegedly trespassed onto the victim’s property on Pilot Creek Lane in Pilot Hill and cut down a post with digital cameras mounted to it, causing damage to both cameras. The female victim, 48, has been having an ongoing road easement and a feud with a neighbor. There is insufficient evidence to identify the suspects at this time.
