1:31 a.m. Deputies made a traffic stop on a vehicle with expired registration on Placerville Drive in Placerville. The 20-year-old male driver was determined to allegedly have a suspended driver’s license and no automobile insurance. The driver was cited and released, and the vehicle was released to a licensed driver.
9:56 a.m. A suspect was contacted in a parking lot on Valley View Parkway in El Dorado Hills after deputies received a call for subject smoking controlled substances in a vehicle. The suspect, Trevon Chestang, 19, was arrested for alleged possession of a controlled substance.
10:18 a.m. A subject claimed his sister-in-law kicked him on Cold Springs Road in Coloma. No prosecution was desired.
10:58 a.m. Unknown person(s) knocked over and damaged five rural mailboxes near Quarry Court in Placerville in Placerville.
3:45 p.m. Makenzie Compise, 18, was cited and released for allegedly stealing cosmetic items from a retail store on Missouri Flat Court in Diamond Springs.
Oct. 13
6:00 p.m. Deputies arrested a female, identified as Rosalyn Snyder, 31, who had outstanding felony warrants on Red Hawk Parkway in Shingle Springs. A search allegedly revealed a methamphetamine pipe in her possession.
7:30 p.m. A report was made of an inmate, identified as Joshua Ramos, 23, tampering with the fire alarm system at the South Lake Tahoe Jail.
