Crime log: Oct. 18-22

Oct. 18

7:05 a.m. A 45-year-old male victim reported burglary to an unlocked garage on Montero Road in Cameron Park.

7:19 a.m. 
A crime report was taken regarding spousal battery on Stage Trail Road in Greenwood. The report was forwarded to DA’s office for review.

Oct. 19

1:47 a.m. The suspect, identified as Logan Woods, 38, was allegedly found in possession of 1.05 grams of methamphetamine and pipe for smoking methamphetamine on Red Hawk Parkway in Shingle Springs. The suspect was subsequently arrested and transported to jail.

7:34 a.m. Unknown suspect(s) stole a 92-year-old male victim’s generator from the back of his pickup truck on Pony Express Trail in Pollock Pines. Palm prints were lifted from the tail gate of the truck and pictures were taken, but no further evidence was obtained

Oct. 20

2:00 a.m. Two male subjects, both age 20, allegedly vandalized a sign inside on Aragon Court in El Dorado Hills.

8:00 a.m. A report was made that between 2:00 a.m. and 2:30 a.m., a swimming pool light, sidewalk and pool furniture were vandalized at a condominium complex on Cambridge Road in Cameron Park

11:45 a.m. 
A citizen called to report a 5-year-old girl was left unattended at a soccer field on Catawba Drive in Cameron Park. The mother was located and she and the juvenile were reunited.

5:28 p.m. 
A guest staying at a motel on Pony Express Trail in Pollock Pines found a small bag allegedly containing marijuana. The unidentified guest turned the bag of marijuana over to the owner of the motel who contacted EDSO to turn it in.

6:20 p.m. A suspect was arrested on outstanding warrants on Highway 50 in Camino. The subject’s vehicle was towed due to the location of the stop.

Oct. 21

8:30 a.m. The victim possibly forgot her purse in a grocery cart on Missouri Flat Road in Diamond Springs. When the victim returned to recover the purse, she was unable to locate the purse.

1:39 p.m. Amanda Montgomery-Thomas, 22, was arrested for alleged possession of drug paraphernalia and attempting to conceal evidence on Highway 50 in South Lake Tahoe.

Oct. 22

12:04 a.m. An identified male suspect, 69, located a TITO ticket on Red Hawk Parkway in Shingle Springs and made no attempt to locate the owner, a 37-year-old male. The suspect allegedly obtained funds with the ticket and fled the scene. The suspect was identified through video footage and players card. The suspect was not arrested.

11:47 a.m. On Oct. 21, a vehicle was stolen from a high school auto shop on Harvard Way in El Dorado Hills. Witnesses identified the suspects and the two 15-year-old male juvenile suspects were located, arrested and booked into juvenile hall on Oct. 22.

12:19 p.m. The 41-year-old female victim reported her wallet had been taken from her unlocked vehicle, which was parked at a business on Red Hawk Parkway in Shingle Springs. A male subject was arrested in Citrus Heights and was allegedly in possession of items related to the theft.

2:00 p.m. A husband, 54, allegedly assaulted his wife, 54, with his hands causing injuries to her face on Marshall Way in Placerville. The suspect fled to an unknown location avoiding contact.

3:10 p.m. A victim reported graffiti vandalism by unknown suspect(s) on Crystal Boulevard in El Dorado.

5:15 p.m. Between 5:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., an unknown suspect forcibly entered the 27-year-old female victim’s vehicle while it was parked at a business on Sports Club Drive in Shingle Springs. The victim’s purse and its contents were allegedly stolen.

6:30 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to a report of a sexual assault which had occurred in the past on Castana Drive in Cameron Park.
