Crime Log — Oct. 2-3

Oct. 2

1:50 a.m. An unknown male was allegedly caught tampering with the 24-year-old female victim’s vehicle on Arapahoe Street in Meyers. The area was checked and the male was not located.

8:00 a.m. Unknown subject(s) entered a mobile home on property in Kelsey and stole the victim’s medical marijuana.

9:00 a.m. A 68-year-old male victim reported a stolen or missing gun that occurred in the last three months in El Dorado Hills. There are no suspect leads.

10:50 a.m. A 76-year-old male victim reported vandalism by unknown suspect(s) on Main Street in Georgetown.

11:20 a.m. A 64-year-old male victim reported petty theft by unknown suspect(s) on Chinquapin Drive in Mont Meadows.

11:27 a.m. Two subjects were contacted while allegedly stripping wire on Wild Chaparral Drive in Shingle Springs.

11:52 a.m. A vehicle’s window was broken and purse was taken from inside on Town Center Boulevard in El Dorado Hills. The vehicle was parked and unattended.

12:06 p.m. 
A victim reported stolen campaign signs over a 24-hour period on Highway 193 in Cool. There are no suspect leads.

12:16 p.m. 
An adult was reported missing by her daughter from Cameron Park. There are no risk factors involved.

1:15 p.m. A victim reported vandalism by unknown suspect(s) on Pasada Road in Cameron Park.

1:46 p.m. A 63-year-old female victim called to report theft on Jane Drive in Placerville. She believed the 27-year-old male suspect, a former worker for the victim, was responsible but could not prove it.  The victim confronted the suspect, who denied involvement. The victim requested a report due to her belief that future thefts by the suspect will occur.

2:18 p.m.
 A 37-year-old male victim believed someone took a package from his doorstep on Guadalupe Drive in El Dorado Hills. There are no suspect leads.

9:03 p.m. Thomas East Jr., 52, was arrested on Service Drive in Diamond Springs for alleged battery of a spouse.

9:10 p.m. A report of a battery to a 30-year-old male victim on Pony Express Trail in Pollock Pines was taken.

Oct. 3

10:30 a.m. The reporting party found a small baggie of miscellaneous jewelry on side of China Garden Road in Diamond Springs.

11:15 a.m. A 60-year-old female victim reported annoying phone calls by possible known suspect(s) in El Dorado Hills.

11:40 a.m. A victim reported petty theft from an unlocked vehicle by unknown suspect(s) on Placitas Drive in Cameron Park.

1:10 p.m. A 62-year-old male victim reported vandalism by unknown suspect(s) on Moonstone Court in El Dorado Hills. Documentation report only.
