Crime Log: Oct. 26-29

Oct. 26

3:00 a.m. Report by Red Hawk Casino of a subject allegedly trespassing that resulted in arrest of Jessica Day, 28, for alleged possession of drug paraphernalia.

7:51 a.m. A reporting party called to report a burglary on Badger Hill in Pollock Pines with possible suspect information.

9:25 a.m. Jason Beckett, 33, was arrested after allegedly stealing merchandise from Wal-Mart on Missouri Flat Road in Diamond Springs.

10:05 a.m. A 46-year-old female victim reported vandalism by unknown suspect(s) on Garlenda Drive in El Dorado Hills.

12:50 p.m. A 16-year-old student allegedly had her cell phone stolen in algebra class on Missouri Flat Road in Diamond Springs.

1:28 p.m. A 69-year-old female victim called to report that her vehicle was vandalized while parked at the Smith Flat bike trail on Jacquier Road in Placerville.

9:34 p.m. 
During a traffic stop driver was found a 17-year-old female driver was found to allegedly be in possession of marijuana on Highway 50 in Placerville. The driver was cited and released on scene.

9:50 p.m. 
EDSO assisted CHP with a pursuit. The subject was tracked after he fled on foot near Highway 50 in Meyers. The subject, Cody Scott, 26, was arrested without incident.

Oct. 27

12:44 a.m. A traffic stop resulted in an adult male, identified as Val Woods, 60, being arrested for alleged DUI and possession of methamphetamine on Lake Tahoe Boulevard in South Lake Tahoe.

7:09 a.m. 
Between approximately 5:45 p.m. on Oct. 26 and approximately 7:00 a.m. on Oct. 27, a business on Mother Lode Drive in Shingle Springs was burglarized.

7:21 a.m.
 A 47-year-old male victim reported that his estranged wife grabbed his throat, causing a traumatic injury on Hillock Drive in Rescue. Kimberlee Lucas, 45, was subsequently arrested and booked into the jail.

9:00 a.m. Unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the Sizzler restaurant on Cameron Park Drive in Cameron Park. The suspect(s) stole a lockbox expecting cash, however no cash was held inside the lockbox.

9:24 a.m. A female legal guardian, 47,  and female juvenile, 11, in Cameron Park, were involved in a physical altercation.

4:21 p.m.
 Christine Ketchen, 32, was arrested for alleged possession of controlled substance and controlled substance paraphernalia on Black Bart Avenue in South Lake Tahoe.

5:27 p.m. Deputies conducted a probation search in Shingle Springs. Two subjects, John Bennett, 48, and Brent Andrews, 41, were arrested for alleged possession of methamphetamine.

10:41 p.m. A married couple was in an argument that escalated to a physical confrontation on Greenleaf Drive in Diamond Springs. The female, Kathleen Ingram-Jackson, 58, was  subsequently arrested for alleged battery.

Oct. 28

5:37 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to a report of an allegedly trespassing subject in custody on Red Hawk Parkway in Placerville. The subject, Alicia Ammons, 27, was cited and released at the scene.

10:43 a.m. An inmate, identified as James Baity II, 37, was allegedly found in possession of marijuana at the county jail.

10:53 a.m. Between Oct. 27 at 4:00 p.m. and Oct. 28 at 10:00 a.m., unknown suspect(s) took a wallet from the victims unlocked vehicle on Concordia Drive in El Dorado Hills. The suspect(s) used the victim’s credit card at gas stations out of the county.

12:07 p.m. Subjects siphoned fuel from a parked vehicle on Greenstone Cutoff in El Dorado

3:00 p.m.
 Unknown suspect(s) broke a window on a parked vehicle and stole several items from inside of the vehicle on Jacquier Road in Placerville.

7:59 p.m. A vehicle was stopped on China Garden Road in Diamond Springs and the driver, Larry Huffine, 30, was found to allegedly be in possession of methamphetamine as well as other contraband. The driver was arrested and booked into the county jail.

Oct. 29

9:37 a.m. A 22-year-old victim reported that on Oct. 27, unknown suspect(s) took the victim’s cell phone while she left it unattended in a business on Pleasant Valley Road in Diamond Springs.

1:36 p.m. Two female subjects allegedly burglarized a residence on Wendsan Lane in El Dorado. The subjects, identified as Ashliegh Harrison, 28, and Teresa Garcia, 28, were later located and taken into custody.

3:10 p.m. A 16-year-old male juvenile suspect allegedly obstructed deputies and was combative on Linwood Lane in Cameron Park. The juvenile suspect had allegedly battered his mother, 43, and was allegedly caught consuming alcohol and smoking marijuana.

4:42 p.m. Unknown subject(s) forced their way into the victims’ vacation home on Fools Canyon Road in Garden Valley and took items.

11:37 p.m. During a traffic stop on Highway 50 in Shingle Springs, the driver, identified as Bruce Wade, 49, was issued a citation for allegedly driving on a suspended driver’s license and for displaying registration tabs not assigned to the vehicle.
