Sept. 11

8:55 a.m. A 48-year-old female victim reported vandalism by unknown suspect(s) on Flying C Road in Shingle Springs.

9:15 a.m. A 17-year-old male victim reported petty theft by unknown suspect(s) on Harvard Way in El Dorado Hills.

10:30 a.m. 
A crime report was taken regarding spousal battery on Du Ponte Drive in Placerville.

1:00 p.m. A male victim called to report his canine stolen from Puerta Del Sol Road in Camino. The victim believes former family members are responsible; however, they deny involvement. The victim desired a report in case canine is located.

7:37 p.m. Deputies initiated a traffic stop for expired registration on Sly Park Road in Pollock Pines. The driver, Stephen Bethel, 43, was subsequently arrested for alleged possession of controlled substances and driving on a suspended license.

7:55 p.m. 
Unknown suspect(s) used paint to deface four EDSO vehicles parked in assigned sheriff parking spaces on Johnson Boulevard in South Lake Tahoe.

Sept. 12

12:04 a.m. Two adult males, ages 23 and 52, were in a heated verbal altercation on Sawmill Road in Meyers. One male took a kitchen knife with him outside and the other male confronted him outside. No assault occurred.

9:33 a.m.
 Unknown suspect(s) shot out a 36-year-old male victim’s car window with an air gun on Fairway Drive in Cameron Park. No one was seen or heard.

9:51 a.m. A 45-year-old male victim contacted EDSO regarding a reported theft on Swansboro Road in Mosquito.

10:00 a.m. Suspect(s) entered a secured residence on South Upper Truckee Road in Christmas Valley and took a 65-year-old male victim’s tools.

10:00 a.m. Suspect(s) entered a secured residence on South Upper Truckee Road in Christmas Valley and took a 36-year-old male victim’s power saw.

1:00 p.m. A 64-year-old male victim reported a burglary by unknown suspect(s) on Dashing Ranch Road in Placerville.

1:20 p.m. A 50-year-old male victim reported a burglary by unknown suspect(s) on Wentworth Road in Cameron Park.

2:48 p.m. A 33-year-old female suspect was stopped for expired registration on Lake Tahoe Boulevard in South Lake Tahoe. The subject consented to a search of the vehicle and allegedly admitted to having open containers of alcohol inside the car. The search allegedly yielded two open containers of alcohol and a methamphetamine pipe.

4:02 p.m. An allegedly intoxicated man at a business on Missouri Flat Road in Placerville, identified as Alan Duffany, 47, was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.

4:38 p.m. A habitual runaway 17-year-old female juvenile was reported to be missing from Union Ridge Road in Placerville.
