Crime Log — Sept. 4-6

Sept. 4

2:00 a.m. 
A male subject, Steven Ferroni, 47, was arrested for alleged possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia on Red Hawk Parkway in Shingle Springs.

8:40 a.m.
 Deputies received a crime report regarding felony vandalism to residential exterior lighting on Brown Drive in El Dorado Hills.

9:22 a.m. A subject allegedly stole items from retailer on Missouri Flat Road in Diamond Springs. The suspect was contacted and detained by loss prevention employee. The suspect, Lad Mazera, 48, was issued a citation and released with his written promise to appear.

10:00 a.m. A 20-year-old male victim reported petty theft by unknown suspect(s) on Seneca Drive in Tahoe Paradise.

10:27 a.m.Unknown suspect(s) entered the 37-year-old female victim’s unlocked vehicle and took several gift cards, cash, and credit cards on Camellia Court in El Dorado Hills. The items were located in a purse also left in the vehicle.

10:43 a.m. Between Sept. 3 and Sept. 4, during night-time hours, property was damaged on Vista Mar Drive in El Dorado Hills. There was no suspect information.

12:21 p.m.
 Property was stolen from a vehicle on Robert J. Matthews Parkway in El Dorado Hills. No suspect information was available.

1:23 p.m. A crime report was made regarding the petty theft of items from an unlocked vehicle parked in an open driveway of a residence on Boeing Road in Cameron Park. Suspect(s) are unknown.

2:05 p.m. Maureen Gunning, 60, was arrested for alleged public intoxication on Missouri Flat Road in Placerville. She was to be released once sober.

3:58 p.m. A parolee was detained in handcuffs on Pollock Avenue in El Dorado.

9:48 p.m. A couple living together got into an argument on Service Drive in Diamond Springs.

9:52 p.m. Dating cohabitants had a verbal argument on Pleasant Valley Road in Placerville.

Sept. 6

3:17 a.m. Unknown suspect(s) stole a vehicle from victim’s car lot on Coach Lane in Cameron Park, damaged a property gate and then left vehicle in nearby field. No suspects were located. CHP handled the stolen vehicle investigation.

7:35 a.m.
 A 36-year-old male victim reported vandalism by unknown suspect(s) on El Norte Road in Cameron Park.

8:28 a.m. A crime report was taken regarding a burglary to an unoccupied residence on Summer Stream Lane in Gold Hill. Suspect(s) are unknown.

8:30 a.m.
 Unknown suspect(s) put sugar into the motor of vehicle to disable it on Wildrose Drive in Grizzly Flat.

8:30 a.m.
 Unknown suspect(s) caused damage to a closed business by prying open door and panel to electrical box on Pony Express Trail in Pollock Pines.

10:32 a.m. A 63-year-old female victim reported losing two gold rings on Paso Way in Pleasant Valley.

12:48 p.m. After hearing a CHP BOL for an alleged DUI driver, a deputy located the vehicle on Park Drive in Placerville and stopped it. The driver, Hollie Stroncak, 36, was not DUI but rather allegedly driving on a suspended license. The vehicle was towed by CHP.

2:12 p.m. 
An information report was taken regarding a small amount of marijuana found at Red Hawk Casino in Shingle Springs. It was booked for destruction.

2:20 p.m. A 54-year-old male victim reported vandalism by unknown suspect(s) on El Norte Road in Cameron Park.

6:44 p.m.
 Private property was accidentally damaged as a result of an interview concerning a neighbor dispute on Lariat Drive in Cameron Park. No arrests were made.

7:00 p.m. Deputies responded to a domestic dispute on Estepa Drive in Cameron Park. No arrests were made.

7:43 p.m. Suspect was observed allgedly violating the vehicle code on a bicycle on El Dorado Hills Boulevard in El Dorado Hills. The suspect allegedly refused to stop his bicycle when deputies activated their emergency lights and siren. The suspect eventually stopped his bike and gave up. The suspect, Alexander Kiss, 20, was arrested on suspicion of obstructing a peace officer and booked into the county jail.
