Have you seen Milo? Missing pup sought

By From page A5 | February 8, 2011

EL DORADO HILLS — The Sohl family is heartbroken.

Just three-and-a-half weeks after they brought home Milo, their Australian shepherd, the puppy has disappeared. The 4-month-old pup got away from Wendy Sohl last Thursday, Feb. 3, after a motorcycle spooked him in front of Juice It Up in El Dorado Hills Town Center. He ran dragging his leash and Sohl chased him to the Nugget Market/Mercedes-Benz dealership area before losing sight of the little guy.

“Our family is heartbroken and sick over this, and we miss him so much,” Sohl said. “Please help bring Milo home.”

The heartbreak goes even deeper than a lost puppy; the Sohl family suffered tragedy last year when Wendy’s husband died. Milo put more smiles on Wendy’s and her children’s faces than they had in months, she wrote in an e-mail. “Our home seemed warmer,” she explained.

Every day Sohl goes out looking for Milo and she has flIers up alerting everyone but, she said, she thinks Milo might be with someone who doesn’t know he has a loving family who misses him so she’s asking for the public’s help.

Milo is a blue merle (gray, black, some tan) Australian shepherd wearing a reddish-maroon collar. If anyone has seen the puppy or finds him call Wendy Sohl at 916-995-9727.
