FOLSOM — The region’s newest performing and visual arts center, Three Stages at Folsom Lake College, kicks off its grand opening festivities with a free community open house and official ribbon-cutting on Friday, Feb. 4, starting at 3:30 p.m. Tours of Three Stages continue that evening until 6:30 p.m.

The event will begin with brief remarks from Folsom Lake College and Los Rios Community College District representatives, as well as local elected officials. Three Stages will then be officially opened with a ribbon-cutting. Self-guided tours will follow, ending at 6:30 p.m, with docents available throughout the facility to answer questions and point out Three Stages’ many notable features. This event is presented free of charge and parking is also free.

For those who are not able to attend Feb. 4, there will be a second open house offered Sunday, Feb. 6, from 1-5 p.m., with self-guided tours and docents. Once again, the event is free of charge and parking is free.
