The “Women’s Fund El Dorado announces $50,000 in 2013 grants” article from July 12 included an incorrect name of a winner. The two Wickline scholarships in the amount of $1,200 each for 2013 awarded by the Women’s Fund El Dorado went to Brittany France and Shandra Raymond.

A front page caption July 8 incorrectly identified John Quincy Adams as the second president. The second president was John Adams, who suggested the 4th of July be celebrated with fireworks. John Quincy Adams, his son, was the sixth president.
