Placerville Planning Commission seeks members

The Placerville City Council invites individuals who are interested in sharing their positive energy and creative talents to apply for appointment to the Planning Commission to fill three  four-year terms of office, set to expire on  March 1.

The function of the Planning Commission is to work within the guidelines established by the city’s General Plan for the physical development of the city.  Applications may be obtained at City Hall, 3101 Center St., or by calling 530-642-5531. Deadline for applications is Jan. 31.

Interested individuals must either be a resident of the city,  a property owner within the city limits and live within the community region, or a primary business owner within the city limits who lives within the community region. Contact the city clerk at 530-642-5531 if you are unsure of the boundaries of the community region.

The Planning Commission meets every first and third Tuesday evening at 7 p.m.
