CAMERON PARK — The Cameron Park Community Services District is planning plenty for the rest of February. The district has already hosted the second annual Reds, Whites and Jewels show and started up new February classes in all age groups.

On Sunday, Feb. 19, at the Cameron Park Community Center, 2502 Country Club Drive, the Cameron Park CSD will be hosting “It’s A Wedding Affair.”

A special wedding show designed for brides of every style. Meet wedding professionals and learn about every aspect of wedding planning from bridal gowns, florists and honeymoons to MC/DJs, party rentals, photographers, videographers, catering and dessert tastings and more.

Doors will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and admission is free.

For more information call 530-677-2231 or visit cameronpark.org.

Seniors and caregivers that missed the first two Coffee Tea and Free are invited to come to the March gathering. This a free monthly occurrence where seniors and caregivers can choose to visit, play a variety of games including Yahtzee, cards, checkers and more, or just relax with both new and old friends.

There are weekly classes for all age groups. From gymnastics, dance, math and flag football for youth to cooking, yoga, dance and zumba classes for adults, the Cameron Park CSD offers something for everyone.

The featured classes this month are the brand new youth ballet classes and brand new adult zumba gold toning classes.

Youth Ballet classes are offered for 3-5 year olds, 5-8 year olds, and 8-12 year olds. Ballet builds strength, flexibility, grace and poise and it's fun. These classes will introduce a solid foundation to ballet, focusing on the Cecchetti method.

Zumba gold toning classes are offered for ages 18 and up. This class involves low-to-moderate strength training. It will combine zumba choreography and moves with the zumba lightweight toning sticks to enhance endurance and muscle strength. Zumba toning sticks are provided. This is a great way to have fun and improve muscle strength and toning.

For more information on any of the Cameron Park CSD’s upcoming events and classes call 530-677-2231 or visit cameronpark.org.
