Introducing ‘Neighborhoods’

Hello and welcome to MtDemocrat.com’s first-ever Neighborhoods edition. Thank you for taking the time to view this Neighborhood’s edition and read this introduction. There could be any number of reasons why you’ve reached this introduction, but, to be honest, we are hoping you’re here because you looked at the home page of this Neighborhood and thought to yourself, “What’s so special about this?”

We have lots of plans for Neighborhoods, but none may be more important than your needs. So, before we spout off at the keyboard, start racking up hours and hours of web development powered by case after case of Red Bull, we would like to see your ideas on what Neighborhoods should look like on MtDemocrat.com. What you’ve already noticed is we’ve helped get you started;

• (1) We’ve aggregated the daily news stories by neighborhood within the categories of “News,” “Sports,” “Obituaries,” “Opinions,” and “Photo Galleries”;
• (2) We’ve tried to keep the presentation small enough so that it all fits on one screen, no scrolling necessary (mobile friendly!).

To quote a movie: “Where we go from there is a choice I leave to you.” Our keyboards are at the ready, our schedules are (usually sort of kinda) open, and there’s plenty of Red Bull. Use the fields below wisely, and we thank you in advance for your thoughts and contributions.
