The folks who braved the heat on June 7 to attend the 49th Ag Tour, sponsored by the El Dorado County Chamber of Commerce and the Ag Council, were given a wonderful taste of the variety of agricultural products found in El Dorado County. Many thanks to the tour hosts: Winterhill Olive Oil, Dedrick’s Cheese, Storm Valley Ranch, Sierra Vista Winery and Shadow Ridge Ranch.
A delicious lunch was prepared by the El Dorado County Ag Department, Boa Vista Orchards, Fudge Factory Farm and Harris Tree Farm, with beverages provided by Barsotti Family Juice Company and the El Dorado Winery Association. Gael Barsotti deserves special thanks for his keynote address.
If you haven’t sampled the foods grown in El Dorado County, you owe it to yourselves to try the diverse bounty found in your backyard. You’ll discover “Local Is Better.”
