To me, it is a risk for us shoosing to live in the foothills. All we can do it provide real protection as best as possible but it’s not always a sure thing. That is life and nature. I honestly wouldn’t be upset if a lion was shot durning an attack, however, the lions in the Matson case were long gone and where hunted down and killed. They weren’t relocated. And Matson didn’t have protection for his goat. Of course you can argue that, but honestly a 4 foot fence is a joke.

But enough Matson bashing… there have been a lot of sighting in Cool and Greenwood as well. One can blame the over populated area of deer. Female deer are small, staving/sick looking, and there are lots of them. When was the last time the DFG released either sex tags in D3-5 areas?
