Abortion question

EDITOR: If a woman can have an abortion with zero input from the father then why can’t the father avoid child support if he did not want the baby? I’m just posing a question. Think about it.

There usually is some sort of input prior to fathering a child. I think the way to look at it is if you do not want to be responsible for a child, don't engage in child producing activities. You can't buy automobile insurance after an accident, can you?

Darrin, RE insurance: Be patient. The preexisting-condition door is open. It's just a matter of time. It's only fair. Social justice demands it. Keeping hope alive requires it. Tpublicans can get out in front on this one if we move fast. Hurry! Single payer car insurance 2016…Let’s go . . . Charge!!!

Because the live child needs food and shelter and the aborted one does not.

Robert, a huge number of fathers do avoid child support. And we the taxpayers pick up the tab thru welfare, food stamps, housing, education, healthcare, transportation, school lunches and countless other costs. Which is why people like me don't have any issue with abortion. I totally support burdens on society not reproducing. We have many expecting mothers who don't actually know who the father is. The leftists call it a more enlightened country.

Kookie65, you have nothing good to say about anyone you do not agree with. The same angry, hateful, traitorous attitudes in all your posts. You are hateful, and intelligently ignorant. Truth be known, you have a "burden on society" in your family, and probably much more. There is so much of what you say that sounds antisocial, Communistic, and like Ayn Rand spiting venom. No compassion on your part, solely judgment and hate. Implode already!

Ruby, it sounds as though you can't help but read what I write. You have the choice not to. I am gernerally brutally honest. Something our politically correct society has abandoned. Don't like it? Tooooo bad. I didn't mention you or any specific person in my comment, yet you take it personal. That says more about you than me. My objective is to get your mind to overrule your emotions. In your case it isn't working. The truth of the matter is I am one of the most optimistic, caring, freindly, helpful, generous people you could ever meet. Which is why I have such an issue with the lie of liberalism. I don't attack you personally, I expose the lie of liberalism and you attack me personally for it. See how liberalism works.

  • cookie65November 25, 2012 - 4:48 am

Ruby, in addition, you didn't mention a single thing in my original comment that was untrue. Just the fact that you didn't want to hear it. As we have become a more socially liberal society do we have more single mothers or less? How many people are harmed by that fact? Liberalism feeds off the destruction of people. I have been exposed to and indoctinated with all the exact same leftist garbage that you have, maybe more, I just never figured I had to believe any of it. Making people dependent is not progress. Liberalism cannot exist without confiscating the earnings and wealth created by productive citizens. It creates nothing, it produces nothing. If you take the redistribution of wealth away from liberalism there is nothing left.

Dang, Kookie, I read all the posts. Your posts stand out as self-righteous, extreme, condescending and limited to one viewpoint. Does that sound better? I am sure you are an outstanding representative of your think tank. Thanks for your feedback.

Ruby-First a thank you in your demostration of toleratic(per Greg Gutfield-is a person who claims to tolerate anything until he,she, or it meets a conservative.).-----You wrote "There is so much of what you say that sounds antisocial, Communistic, and like Ayn Rand spiting venom." Are you kidding? You can have communistic or Ayn Rand but you can't have both.

Claims to be tolerant, until he runs into someone who disagrees with him. The toleratic travel in packs, called the tolerati. They will overlook the sleaze on their own side, while demanding you apologize for a "cruel joke" that harmed no one. (Good word, Dee. Sounds like one or two of the MD commenters.)

Ruby, still waiting for you to tell me what I said in my original comment that was NOT TRUE. Intruding on your sensabilities and you not wanting to hear it or have to think about it does not count and does make it dark or over the edge. Maybe having to deal with reality is just what you need. The truth is a stubborn thing, as a very wise old relative used to tell me, the truth is a living thing, it cannot be extinguished, it cannot be exterminated, it cannot be hidden, it cannot be burried. So why bother with dishonesty?

You have to pour the blood or soda into the blood/soda delivery systems on the side of your neck, left or right depending on your politics. A soda can won't fit.

background context on toleratic - LINK - These are the phony toleratic — a kook who claims to be tolerant, until he runs into someone who disagrees with him (you). The toleratic travel in packs, called the tolerati. Examples of tolerati: soros-funded bloggers, hyenas, the Manson family, Hollywood. The tolerati traffic in faux hate, as a way to elevate their profile, and lower yours. They will overlook the sleaze on their own side (coming in various forms, like Bill Maher and syphilis), while demanding you apologize for a "cruel joke" that harmed no one

TRIVIA: 6 full soda cans of blood flows through Gutfeld's brain every minute at rest. 3 full soda cans of blood flows through Gutfeld's brain every minute while deconstructing liberal crap.

Phil, no, the human brain can only handle three cans of blood. If Gutfeld tried six cans his brain would explode and get blood all over everything.

Colonel, Please! We're talking flow not volume. But in the Gutfeld case both volume and flow are substantially above normal.

    Reply | Report abusive comment
  • James E.November 25, 2012 - 5:25 pm

Phil flow is determinative. Like the size of a pipe, only so much can get through. Increased blood pressure causes many strokes as pipes fail.

  • Phil VeerkampNovember 25, 2012 - 6:09 pm

Colonel, Gutfeld’s cranial capillary diameter is twice that of normal people. Since the cross-sectional area varies as the square of the radius Mr. Gutfeld’s capillaries can easily pass four times the blood flow. It therefore follows that the observed flow transpires at an even lower pressure than the rest of us must endure. I envy Mr. Gutfeld. He should have a long, productive and stress free life. There is little or no chance of stroke even under these impressive operational parameters.

  • James E.November 25, 2012 - 6:22 pm

So, Mr. Gutfeld has extra brain capability, as does Rush Limbaugh. And, how did you determine this? Brain scan or did you just feel the bumps on his head. Were you the one who told the cruel joke? Tell me, as I haven't noticed any cruel jokes on this site.
