Airing anti-assault weapon propaganda

EDITOR:

Anyone watch C-SPAN lately? A one-hour televised program on “Reducing Gun Violence” just aired on Jan. 16 from 11 a.m. to noon.

Janet Robinson, Newtown public school superintendent, just gave a speech in front of the “House Democrat Steering Committee” at the Rayburn office building. It was a solemn, tearful audience of legislators that heard Ms. Robinson describe in detail the bravery of each teacher … each situation, defending their charge of children, each dying in the process. It was totally informative except for one thing. Ms. Robinson repeatedly referred to the shooter as using an AR-15 … no other gun, just an AR-15.

“Shot these children with an AR-15,” “Shot the front door with an AR-15″… etc.

Now, with the precise description of events she laid out for the committee, how did she get that wrong? The answer is my friends, in her anti-gun agenda moment … she lied. With a bawled face, she knowingly abused her position by influencing members of Congress with false and insidious testimony. Police reports clearly pointed out in the news, “An AR-15 was found in the trunk of the perpetrator’s vehicle … it never left the vehicle.” She planted the idea an “assault weapon” was used in this awful crime.

When will it end? When will these heinous types who represent “pillars” of our community be exposed for their criminality? Michael Nutter, Mayor of Philadelphia and president of the U.S. Conference of Mayors, spoke next. He did not correct Ms. Robinson, but went on to describe further the lack of gun control as cause of increased violent crime in his city.

Folks, no Snopes needed here for confirmation, I certify the above was aired and is the truth as I heard and witnessed.

We must find a way to stop the propaganda in our media, then we may begin to reduce the gun violence.

Mr. Kerr, OK, if the AR-15 was in the trunk, what weapon did he use to spray those little children?

According to MSNBC on the day of the shootings, it was four handguns that were used. They also reported that both the "AR-15" and a shotgun were found in his mother's car. See: http://video.today.msnbc.msn.com/today/50208495#50208495

At about 9:35 a.m., using his mother's Bushmaster XM15-E2S rifle, Lanza shot his way through a locked glass door at the front of the school.( rifle variants of the M4 / AR-15 design) I guess since it was a variant of the AR-15 that somehow she lied in your mind? If she had stated it as the Bushmaster XM15-E2S rifle would you still be calling her a liar? Since that is what was used.

The point here is ...WHO REALLY KNOWS what happened? It has become so politicised, there has been so much 'testimony' giving opposite messages, I tend to believe ORIGINAL police statements that the weapon "never left the vehicle". It may end like the Warren Report on the Kennedy assasination...we may NEVER get the truth now...the public assumes it was an AR-15 used in this truly terrible crime. Just remember, so called 'assault weapons', in the hands of law abiding citizens (the vast majority)...are anti-assault weapons.

It is possible, hard to imagine, but possible that this is a cover up. Watch for yourself the on air interview of the medical examiner. Extrodinary ineptitude for a man that has over 25 years of expirience! Witnesses are on tape describing a second shooter running into the woods. Experts argue that the attacks bare resemblance to Israeli military operations.

Two weeks ago on CNN mid afternoon during a report about the Sandy Hook shooting CNN flashed a split screen picture showing the shooter Lanza and his weapons laid out. The kids appearance seemed unusual and the weapons consisted of four hand guns, an AR-15 and six 30 round magazines, haven’t seen the pictures since.

The indoctination aimed at the low information voters in this country never ends. Newsweek proclaimed billary the most powerful woman in American history on its latest cover. Nothing more than an attempt to create substance where none exists. Bloviating and misremembering sure has its advantages. I guess jetsetting and globtrotting on the taxpayers dime translates as power rather than privlige. Just for purpose of argument I would rank Rosa Parks, Rachel Carson and Margaret Sanger among others who had more powerful influence in culture and society than anything the leftist media could ever make up about hildabeast. Even Margaret Thatcher's actions and contributions would rank above "i can't recall" as the most powerful woman in American history and she wasn't even an American.

Rod Kerr, I found you letter of interest: but, your suggestion that the AR-15 used at Sandy Hook was not used, fly’s in the face of 17 agencies that have been involved in the investigation. Paul Vance, the face of the ongoing Connecticut State Police investigation which includes the FBI and ATF, debunked media and Internet reports that Sandy Hook shooter Adam Lanza killed his victims with handguns and not the Bushmaster XM-15 E2S rifle that is now the focus of a proposed federal assault-weapons ban. Rod,just because it appears on right wing blogs doesn’t make it true, no matter how many times you repeat it.

Richard, We had a fun time at the gun show today as did alot of other people. I ended up getting a couple of new toys one of which is a 12 million volt stun gun flashlight combo. I've been anxious to try it out on something and thought of you. For $50.00 would you possibly be interested in being my practice dummy? I know you'd do a great job and I promise I'd shock you only once.

I wonder why Richurd and so many others want so badly for that AR15 to be the murder weapon at Sandy Hook? Why is that so important, that the evidence that it never left the trunk and that the handguns were used is ignored?

Paddy, Mom and I drove by on Friday and it looked packed. There had to be just as many people today. I got the stun gun and a Rossi 357 lever action which I can still plunk 38's out of. I can't wait to get it. Lots of fun and a great turn out.

Another right wing conspiracy theory: Suggesting the AR-15 was not used at Sandy Hook when the agencies involved say it was, sounds like an attempt to make liars out of the agencies that have been involved in the investigation, right wingers love this kind of stuff. I especially love the right wing theory I found on that women’s web sit that the Sandy Hook killings were, “really done by Jewish commandos”. Repeating the same conspiracy theory about Sandy Hook over and over doesn’t make it true....

Absolutely mind boggling to think how fantastic the gun industry has accelerated, wall street stocks of every gun manufacture have increased 5 fold... and back orders into next year... all because of diane frankenstien and 'say it aint so Joe'. BTW the helicopter shots of polce officer extracting AR-15 'like' weapon from trunk of perps vehicle ...WITH NO MAGAZINE IN IT tells me it wasn't used...think about it. ciao for now.

Richard, there is no conspiracy. We all know with certainty that 20 children and 6 adults were left with only the protection of the liberal fantasy that proclaiming 'gun-free zone' would detour someone intending on harming them. We also know with certainty that someone with severe mental issues was free and not institutionalized because of liberals at the ACLU make it exstremely difficult for family to protect themselves and society from them. The only conspiracy is the make believe that this was not a glaring failure of liberalism. I have another total failure of liberalism for you (besides obama) Chicago has more killings currently than in the days of Al Capone. http://abclocal.go.com/wls/story?section=news%2Fiteam&id=8977635

HOW CRAZY ARE THE RIGHT WINGERs OPPOSED TO GUN CONTROL, well PolitiFact.com and the Wall Street Journel say the tea party sweetheart lied: Questions about gun control were on the mind of reporters when Gov. Scott Walker held a news conference in Madison on Jan. 10, 2013.Reporters, including one from the Wall Street Journal, asked the first-term governor about the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut, where 20 children and six adults were killed in December 2012 by a man with a semi-automatic weapon.Did the carnage affect Walker’s stance on gun control? The governor responded that a variety of factors, including the mental health of the perpetrator, need to be considered to prevent future tragic events such as Sandy Hook and the August 2012 shooting at the Sikh temple in Oak Creek.Walker said too much attention is paid to the weapon in such shootings and cited a recent case as an example: "We just had someone last week in Neenah near a school kill someone with a bow and arrow." He added that if gun control efforts are "just focused on the weapon, that gets away from the question of who are the people committing these heinous acts and what is it that’s happening that we’re not able to prevent them from doing that." Walker has enjoyed CONSIDERABLE SUPPORT from the NRA, and the group has given him an A-plus rating. His response to the gun control question was in line with groups fighting restrictions on guns: Don’t blame the weapons. There was only one problem with Walker’s statement about the bow and arrow murder.IT NEVER HAPPENED..........

Richard, here is an example of a REAL conspiracy. Why are ALL FEDERAL AGENCIES buying REAL assault weapons (fully automatic machine guns) and millions and millions of hollow point (cop killer) ammo? BTW HP ammo is against the Geneva Convention for use in combat... but is ok to use on American citizens?... buy American institutions? Sadly it is true. Feds need them for the coming revolution when they pull the plug on the Constitution in its entirety, and switch to Marshall Law in 4 years. There will never be another Republican president. Marshall law will install Obama essentially as a 'hero dictator' after his second term has guaranteed national dependency from a collapsed economy and 'civil unrest'. They are working very hard RIGHT NOW to collapse economy...and all dollar linked investment, retirements, 401s, etc. That is exactly what printing $40B every month is doing...and they are right on schedule. All they have to do is keep lying to the public about how much better things are getting, while the sky falls in on us. All 'elections' after that will be among Democrat shills... very similar to today's president (Amadinajad) working under the Ayatollah and his 12 'cabinet' members, which he can make anyone of president at his pleasure. (shhhh... BTW there are no free elections in Iran). Think I'm kidding? Who would have possibly thought a pandering Communist deceiver-in-chief, (Obamacare good example)in a bad economy could have been elected over an honest business man with a brief case full of real accomplishments? go figure, Obama BOUGHT his votes, just like any other BANANA REPUBLIC. Our country is changing VERY rapidly. Everything you can imagine incrementally...has already happened, and will continue to shock some of us. The minority-now-majorities... just don't care as long as they have EBT cards, Legal pot, free medical, monopoly money and their only little turf to fight over... and the worst part is THEY control us. It is game over my friend, 'take your money and run'. Of course they need the guns, and will try to take ours. Why did they purchase 350 million .40S&W hollow point rounds in 2011? Of all agencies, why did the Social Security Admin also buy 1.2 million rounds of the same stuff? It is part of an alignment strategy for all federal agencies when the command is given (been to one of their training classes in Sac in 2007). You see all that new fencing around Placerville airport, paid by TSA? That's not to protect our planes, or prevent some raghead al quaida attack, that's so DHS has some security when they takeover PVF as a field 'command' center'. And they are doing the same at EVERY public airport in the nation. You don't think the FEDS are the biggest conspiracy of all time? nyet vozdushnie sily

Cookie: I do understand that Richard's position is -- shall I say -- "precarious". He CANNOT supply a credible reference. I challenge Richard to watch the above video posted 2/2/13-7:36 am and report back. Eyewitness accounts and news reports totally undermine the AR-15 account. Rob, you really need to get off those right wing web pages. (Fence around the airport for security when the invasion comes.) That’s stupid man, the county wanted to but the fence up 30 years ago when a deer ran in front of Pierces Cherokee six but couldn’t afford it, could it be the fence is to protect the planes from vandlism and deer. I think what you really need to fear is the majority of people quietly watching you redneck nut-cakes.

I just got to laugh at the anti-gun control activists in our community who repeatedly say things like, "when they come for my guns, they will have to pry it out of my cold, dead hands,” I hear it all to often and its become common refrain among the rednecks when there is a threat, credible or otherwise, that the US government is going to take their firearms. And, when I hear this crazy talk, I agree with them openly. “You are right. They will pry your gun from your cold dead hands,” which I often follow with the question, “And where will that leave you except face down in a pool of your own blood in the middle of a field no doubt, just another dead fool resisting the State?” “The other line I really like, “I just want to be left alone, followed by an inventory of how many guns they have.
