Ashamed of Ponderosa

EDITOR:

I watched the Channel 3 news Friday night with astonishment. I was ashamed of being a Ponderosa alumnus. It seems the Ponderosa High vice principal and county school superintendent didn’t like the idea of a small business (The Ammo Depot out of Rancho Cordova) advertising on the Ponderosa scoreboard, so they had the sign turned around so no one could read it. Either these two men are “anti-small business” (I don’t think so) or they are anti-Second Amendment. The Ammo Depot doesn’t even sell firearms, just shooting supplies and offer gun safety classes. I believe that these two men should resign or quit, and if they don’t — that the School Board should fire them both. Maybe they can get a job in New York where the governor and mayor think like they do, and don’t believe in our Constitutional rights.

It's not really a shock that some Libtard went out of their way to side-step Constitutional rights and stifle a small business, especially if that business was supporting the community....It's what Obama would want them to do........

I’m shocked also. The Superintendent of schools is on the right side of Republican politics.

are you kidding me. A booster club posted the add and then the administration made the call to remove the add and perhaps some one made a judgement call mistake and Larry is calling for the district to fire 2 employees over lack of support for 2nd amendment rights issue. Why not just shoot them and put them out of their misery. Ever made a mistake before. Are you kidding me.

Mary, Why would you lobby for people who made a mistake to be shot? As someone who actually help buy the scoreboard I must agree that Ammo Depots ad with bullet holes was not appropriate on school property. I also can see that since the threat of lawyers has been raised that this situation will not be resolved ammicabally. Sad

I am proud of Ponderosa. Zero tolerance is zero tolerance.
