To all of the voters be weary Of Hoffman. He is part of the good ole boy network.
When he was my lawyer he told me that there is no morals in the laws.HE would tell me one thing and later would change what was said.
When in meadiation also said it was up to what the atorneys agreed to not me so I think he is a poor excuse for a person to be a judge.

To me it's a lot about a candidtes attitude and if the person/candidate is even capable of being fair and not judgemental based on personal beliefs. I don't like to see a candidate (judge, or ANYone else for that matter) look at what someone might be wearing for example and profile them, or snicker a dig to the person they are with. I make it my business to watch the look on peoples faces when I am out and about. To me it shows their character. I saw Hoffman answer questions at a forum, one in particular was about 16 year olds being tried as adults. To me, and in my opinion I viewed the look on his face as angry and with filled with hostility as the words came out saying he had no problem charging them as an adult. (This to me means throwing away the key on a 16 year old and that spells UN fair to me.) The system should not say a 16 year old is an adult, when cleary they are so NOT an adult. Many people in their early to mid 20's I would not even consider mature adults,--- do we try them as a minor due to imaturity!?!? Why have a double standard? I also think Hoffman has a lot of nerve telling his clients how to raise their own kids unless their drug addicts or in an abuse situation... --then he had the nerve to brag about it at a candidates forum --e gads!!! Simply by what I feel is a "bad a-- attitude" alone, I wouldn't want him to be a judge of ANYTHING much less have a minor's life in his hands. I think Stracener has far more experience with youth thus might have a little more compassion yet be tough as needed. Please join me and vote for Stracener.

Anytime a Good Ol' Boy like Howl Barker endorses someone it is a simple and wise choice to vote for the other candidate. Hoffman, the Folsom attorney, and inmate Daniel Chartraw are linked by actions, letters, and investors that were defrauded by false representations that appear to violate not only the law, but also the Rules of Conduct for an attorney or a judge under ethics rules. The actions of Hoffman and Chartraw are well documented and speak for themselves in court filings criminal/civil and lawsuits. Chartraw, Hoffman's former client, was helped by Hoffman, in my opinion, to defraud investors by the letter Hoffman wrote stating Chartraw had substantial precious metals in his possession which appears to have prompted investment into Hoffman's trust account this money has disappeared. Barker and the rest of the Gob's should know when the law and the line have been crossed. This isn't character we want in a judge in this county regardless of who the other candidate is. Chartraw, who sits in a jail cell while his former attorney runs for judge doesn't pass the smell test. The crime victims are what people need to remember when voting.

@gimme a break, you want some facts? Stracener is less qualified than a second year law student to sit as a judge. he sits as a traffic judge and gets reversals from the other local judges. Stracener cant tell the truth, I've proven that more than once. Stacener ripped off the taxpayers for 397k in 2011 by taking three times the vacation and leave pay authorized by state policy. Stracener appeared on Old Guy TV, (see you tube) He doesn't even know what rating the NRA gave him. ( QA?) he used to have a 22 rifle, but now doesn't know where it is. (responsible gun owner?) Stracener supports the 2nd ammendment, but doesn't own a gun to carry? Oh, but he has filled out the paper work? wow, what an advocate. Joe Hoffman has forgotten more about the law than Stracener has learned in the last 25 years. Gimme a break is just another ploy by the Stracener camp to polish a turd. Flush!

Let's not kid ourselves here. Joe is far from "the real deal professionally OR in his character" [he used his special status as a trusted attorney to enable his friend to defraud innocent people and the elderly of hundreds of thousands of dollars]; he has never exercised any judicial authority [he has never been authorized to do anything other than help parties settle a case and has never been authorized to issue an independent judicial order from the bench]; and even the NRA doesn't believe in his support of the 2nd Amendment [they gave him a C rating]. Let's all see that for what it is - another ploy by Hoffman's camp to get you to trust a public official who is willing to give you all the fluff without any of the important facts.
