Barnett

EDITOR:

As I listen to Barnett and the Republican Party standing in the way of the President’s proposal that only those who make over $250,000 per year would pay a little more in taxes, my first thought is, I wish I was making $250,000 a year. I certainly would not complain about paying $40,000 in federal income tax. Yet they justify taking away from the elderly that is in need of heath care. It certainly tells me what they think of the elderly and those in need.

Of course Barnett and most federal employees will be on the government payroll the rest of their lives, with the best health care money can buy and the tax payers pay for that.

I would like to see Barnett put out of the Senate and Republican Party. I find him very offensive to the people that make under $250,000 a year; why should anyone pay federal income tax that only makes $30,000 a year? How can they pay for health care or buy gasoline to get to and from work?

Yeah!!! spank em and take em down to somewhere around the same level where you are then we'll all be good. Uh... BTW Bill what $ level are you at cause we have to make sure you don't make more than anybody else or somebody below you might want to take you down a notch or two. Who says you're paying your fair share?
