EDITOR:
On May 27, our daughter Alexx suffered a mishap resulting in a severely broken ankle and surgery involving screws, a plate and a pin. Oh yeah, she was to graduate in four days. The Golden Sierra staff sprang into action to accommodate our wheelchair-bound teen. Maintenance constructed various ramps and she was able to graduate on stage.
Forgive us if we left anyone out, but you know who you are: John Kenny, Larry Heighberger, Chris Lones and Steve (so sorry, we don’t know your last name).
We know there were seven or eight of you, so thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
Big thanks also to the office staff: Judy Toth, Lisa Dollar and Val Dodge. Heather Penley and Mr. Hendrix also went above and beyond helping to make it happen.
Finally, everyone at Marshall Hospital, especially Kris Nixon. We are truly blessed to live in a community that rises up to help when help is needed; we see it all the time.
